I think artists and sex workers should have a natural allyship. Both of us are often told we should not be allowed to charge for our work if it is at all pleasurable. Both of us are wanted for what we can do, but our work is considered not worth paying for. We should stick together

RIP Bioware. Wren was once _very aggressively_ headhunted by Bioware edmonton back in 2006...they wanted him so bad 😭They had money to make some pretty bonkers offers back in the day, and he nevertheless...turned it down...and they kept offering more and more lmao He didn't wanna move to edmonton.

That was also within like...the first year of our relationship LOL He had asked me for my opinion. I had JUST been accepted to ACAD for post secondary, and I was like, "My opinion is genuinely worse than useless to u rn, go ask your brother and colleagues." 😂

I wish art could be granted more freedom to be a "financial flop". The value art contributes to humanity isn't monetary. The existence and accessibility of art shouldn't rely on its financial profitability.

Everyone benefits from there being more art in the world...Art's purpose isn't to create capital. It's an exchange of experiences, ideas, curiousities, hopes and anxieties. It's such a fundamental part of human connection. I'm so fucking bored of money dictating everything. Money is so boring.
