getting extremely tired of the weather just inventing new warm days that were previously not in the forecast. This has been so obnoxiously consistent that it feels pointless to even check the forecast. 73 in the chicago area at the end of october 😒 mr freeze was right

I was a fool to post this because in the end the high clocked at just barely under 75 and now we've got a 76 in the forecast actually no I wasn't a fool because i'm miserable at 70+ and my room overheats like crazy and I depend on the air being sub 60 to cool my room off now i'm just madder-er!

Somehow I entered a fugue state and repainted this extremely old fanart despite having zero intention of originally doing so upon finding it in my folders #art #fanart #zelda #twilightprincess #link #midna

spoopy movie marathon has continued with miu, Hokum was incredibly good, incredibly good. I wanted to watch it again right away to soak in the sets and lighting. Grateful for my face blindness for once, tho, because I know I wouldn't have been able to wipe this image out of my head otherwise

More Movies Really loved Barbarian. Incredibly enjoyable writing/film that plays with your expectations like a stuffed mouse on the end of a string except my nickname for my beloved little Baby Winters was "BABA" and now I know how I must have looked/sounded to her lmao (she loved it tho)

Talk to Me - finally watched after having it on my "Oh check that out" list Fantastic! Probably the most intense possession scene i've seen in a film since the first time little kid me ever saw The Exorcist Forgot to mention I finally watched Weapons, too! Gladys is amazing lmao that finale

we've watched a lot of stuff now, mostly using it as a catchup for films I missed out but had on my Must Watch list and, yeah, I knew I'd love Sinners but I wasn't prepared for HOW MUCH I'd love Sinners what an *incredible* film, it has EVERYTHING.

again tho with my face blindness, I didn't realize the incredible feat of trickery they were doing on me until nearly at the end with Michael B. Jordan playing both the smokestack twins lmao I'll have to go back and watch it right away again too to marvel at that SFX work first, rewatching US now

Not going to get to be able to do the batch drop of pages like I wanted. We can all blame Hell Summer together <3 with that said, I found a pacing I liked and have formatted it so this week's page is a single, but just about everything after that will be a double (and triple) spread

Bleak⋆Squeak

returning to single page updates once the pacing calls for it (though I'm hoping to eventually get back to where I can do double pages as the baseline standard.) Still, you'll get double/triple pages for a while... and we get to drive into some Meat

getting to paint a parody poster of Rock & Rule's theatrical release poster and getting paid to do it is one of my happiest ever work memories. I'll never thank my old director enough for letting me do that (literally giving me free reign to pick the movies to parody so long as I stuck to a genre)
