Dharhix - I'm Trying!

There's been an influx of new followers, so Hi! I'm Dharhix (Yes, I love my privacy). I'm a lover of games, of books. I'm also a game dev and a writer (sci-fi/fantasy). I don't do follow-backs. I like to keep an eye on politics and all types of rights (human and others). Disabled but not silent.

In honor of Bioware I will be playing the Mass Effect trilogy tonight starting at 1900 (7 pm for Americans 😂) on Twitch. Join me then!

Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

TONIGHT, THE COURT OF SECRETS OPENS ITS DOORS! We're transforming The Secret Lantern into our very own little slice of Velaris for The Court of Secrets Midnight Release & Starfall Ball! And at midnight? WE CELEBRATE THE BOOK RELEASE! See you tonight when stars come out.

They called the cops on this 3-year-old Black boy because he was kickin the white kids' ass on the soccer field.

@ign.com I hate AI as deeply as the next guy, but when I write, I triple-check everything; the names more than anything else. The dev's name is spelled in at least two different ways. "Biojout" or "Bijout." I don't know which one is real, but man... www.ign.com/articles/ind...

If you would like to vote early in person in California, today you can start doing that! Go vote! This is a totally a PSA and not me trying to reclaim the Most Early Voters By District crown from District 77 (I’m coming for you, 77, just you wait)

Don't just yap about it. Take action!! There is a user forum topic to CANCEL the event! TELL THEM WE DO NOT WANT AI HERE twitch.uservoice.com/forums/92338...

For fuck’s sake

RT if you don't use AI for coding

WATCH THIS! EA sold the remainder of its soul to the Saudis and THAT was the price to pay for their playback. Get rid of the queer, bi, trans, pronouns, etc. FUCK THEM ALL.

Headed to the ORL. Hopefully that doctor will be less condescending than last time. -_-

Streamer, has 4 health left: I'm a robot. I don't want to know what happen if I jump into the water; cause, I'm a robot, you know. Please don't tell me what happens if I jump into water. I'll reload the game an hour before instead. It's okay. How in actual fuck does that makes sense? Seriously.

To honor one of the studios that defined PC gaming, we've republished more than 20 articles about BioWare today. The pcgamer.com homepage is dedicated to interviews, retrospectives, and making-ofs about some of the best RPGs of all time.

Part of my literal job is to fly out to physical game studios to rescue and recover historical materials that might be endangered and put them in a permanent archive. @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social is a 501(c)3 publicly funded to do that, my DMs are open, and I'm free for the next couple weeks...

During this downtime we would like to remind you that AI-related scraping and bot traffic has been the #1 source of service disruption for us, and we prohibit any sort of AI-generated content on our platform. Live long and prosper, Captains!

When EA bought Bioware in 2007 I started mourning the studio. I knew this day would come. What I didn't see coming was EA being bought by thieves and murderers and those owners would be the ultimate downfall of Bioware. I'm guessing the studio's stories were way too woke for them insecure idiots.

It's a new week, Bluesky. Trust no poll. Trust no pundit. Vote early if you can. Vote in person if you can.

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

since California ballots are now out: prop 40 is the billionaire tax, and you should vote yes to stick it to them but both props 41 and 42 are designed to retroactively cancel the billionaire tax because they’re afraid they can’t beat it at the ballot box yes on 40, no on 41 and 42

❗❗❗Mark Zuckerberg's meta just suspended the No Kings Instagram account. I just rushed back from my local No Kings to jump on this. Bottom line, would be helpful for all pro-No Kings folks to elevate the issue and help us get the word out about No Kings today. The Nerd Reich strikes again.

turns out the person complaining about slop is part of the problem unfortunately it's obviously still a problem, just ironic they didn't think their face would get eaten by ai leopards

tapping the sign again: no, sanitizing queer spaces of “problematic art” was never going to discourage them from censoring & criminalizing us, their goal isn’t “acceptable” queer expression, it’s none at all. wake the fuck up & stop projecting your discomfort onto others.

This Saturday, we’re taking action with No Kings in all 50 states to make our voices heard and defend our democracy.

A friend is looking for a contract attorney in DC for a contract with a major university. Any suggestions?

Are you an Epic Games employee with thoughts on the company's pivot towards GenAI and how it's handling that messaging? I would be extremely interested in hearing them. Happy to chat confidentially. Email: chris.kerr@verticalslice.news Signal: kerrblimey.43

Well, Kelly Clarkson, what do you have to say about that? What hurts me the most is that I liked her. Now, well, pfffff. She just proved that she isn't worth it; from me or anyone else. I hope everyone working with her will let her know how stupid that move was. She needs to apologize profusely.

Devlog: elite monsters in Champions of Thaloria roll random affixes on the server. Vampiric, Shielded, Summoner, Cursed… 26 in total. Same wolf pack, very different fight. https://store.steampowered.com/app/5102590/Champions_Of_Thaloria/ #gamedev #indiedev #solodev

We’ve been talking about this for years. None of these far-right movements are organic.

And somehow the April Fools example prompt shows more imagination and curiosity than the one later put out for real

Join me at 9PM GMT-4 as we play with wind vectors in the map tool. Been a rough week and I'm still not 100% so I wanted to do something useful and pretty. Should be fun. Mythruna - Wind Vectors www.youtube.com/live/QtcvNVz... #mythruna #IndieGameDev #indiegame #indiedev #indiegames

Today's the day! We're celebrating The Secret Lantern's 1st Anniversary, starting with our official ribbon cutting at 3pm today, followed by a pizza party and games all night, starting at 6pm. We also have a last-minute addition to the festivities - ADORABLE BABY GOATS!!!

“If you don’t like public executions just don’t watch it” says the crowd trying to ban drag shows and books

... and t here's a dire need for more of that.

Friends, can we all block and report @scuba-diving-5.bsky.social — they are pretending to sell my stuff on merch (check their replies tab), but it’s a credit card number theft scam. Hopefully nobody got ripped off, but if you did, call your credit card company ASAP.

SoCal folks, have a call to action for you for tomorrow. Please show up if you can

Hey everyone, a local ICE watcher was brutally attacked this morning while observing ICE in Santa Ana (she had teeth knocked out), if you’re available this afternoon there’s a protest at the civic center plaza in Santa Ana
