BEGGING my fellow streamers to PLEASE stop using Tangia! I don't care if it makes for funny clips. Most voices on Tangia come from people who've very publicly said they don't want their voice taken from them this way. AI voices hurt ALL voice actors. You're better than this. Use other TTS.

I was deeply involved in a streamer's community (had supplied music mixes and a raid alert for her, even) and had to walk away because she was letting Tangia take over. She was happy getting endlessly interrupted by AI Borat or GLaDOS or whoever spending a minute not answering a question.

It always comes back to this for me; if AI was so good, such a disclosure would be a selling point. If AI was everything these slop jockeys said it was, they should be proud to let people know their game was AI made. But the proof is in the pudding, and they can't stand that people don't want it.
