What Kamala Harris proposes in not impeaching Trump is this the same reason why letting Jefferson Davis and the rest of the Confederate soldiers and leaders off the hook was a bad idea.. We've been paying for it ever since😡

7/ The consequences of this rollback could not be more serious. Methane traps 80x more heat than CO2 over a 20-year span. It's responsible for ⅓ of the global warming we experience today. All to save just 0.4% of US oil and gas production, per an industry estimate cited by Trump's EPA itself.

3/ Trump's EPA actually acknowledged that stripper wells produce very little but pollute quite a lot. So who benefits from keeping them running? A previously obscure faction of the oil industry that has gained unprecedented influence in Trump's second term…

2/ The big change: loosening requirements for leak inspections and equipment upgrades at hundreds of thousands of low-producing “stripper wells.” These wells produce just 6% of the country’s oil and natural gas — but studies show they're responsible for roughly half the sector’s methane pollution.

1/ Last month, I obtained details of a plan by Trump's EPA to weaken restrictions on methane pollution from oil and gas wells. Last night the EPA largely confirmed what I had seen. Here’s what it means for the climate — and who stands to benefit:

In a classified briefing, a DoD official revealed to Senators how much Iranian attacks on U.S. bases have cost us. Now, I'm calling for the DoD to make that number public. Americans deserve to know how much of their money is being burned on Trump's war with Iran.
