Men are hurting right now (like everyone else) and are being told as they have been for a decade that it is women and immigrants’ faults. As rights are stripped from both women and immigrants their material conditions are deteriorating, and not improving yet they continue to blame these groups, why?

All day long the Liberals create media to give the impression that Canada is doing well and everyone is fine. Meanwhile head to any downtown in Ontario and it looks like an affordability catastrophe. Enough with the gaslighting.

I have Liberals absolutely melting down and devolving into personal insults in my comments now that they’ve seen an 18 pt loss of their lead in Québec.

Bluesky should go back to invites, continue aggressive bot bans, create a Craigslist-style marketplace (since you’re more likely to buy/get services from a educated or good person on here than any other social network), and market this place like a walled garden protected from enshittification.

Last year, I signed 4yo up to a "1000 Books Before Kindergarten" challenge. Ignoring all the books I had read her up to that point, we just finished book #1000 in 12 months. We finished the challenge with "The Woman Behind the Magic". So proud of her ♥️

Aussies have the post-election bliss Canadians enjoyed until Poilievre announced he would usurp the will of the people with Liberal help. Let them have their joy. I know we’re all kinda bummed but we staved off fascism for now. Their joy is pure, celebrate it with them.

Prior to the #cdnpoli election we all seemed to have a shared understanding that Poilievre’s brand of conservatism was fascism, he was detrimental to our sovereignty, & the sooner we get rid of him the better. After the election we now have apologists & sympathizers. That’s how they eventually win.

I’m so happy for Australians 🇦🇺 they get a real win. Ours lasted 4 days.

I managed to get a pro-life house to take a Liberal sign tonight right by the post office which is primo election real estate. If you spend the time chatting to people it pays off. My biggest impression is church communities (which this is) don’t get a lot of contact outside their networks.
