I used Lua for scripting long time ago when I was implementing automated trading server in C++. It is beautiful and powerful language made for embedding. It is so good to have it available in Elixir deflua.com, github.com/tv-labs/lua! #elixirlang #lua

deflua.comLua.ex: Sandboxed Lua 5.3 on the BEAM, built for AI agentsEmbed untrusted Lua in your Elixir app: AI agent tools, user formulas, per-tenant plugins. Pure BEAM, sandboxed by default, zero NIFs.

👀 I’m excited to check this out! Very cool Lua integration @zachdaniel.dev

AshLua has been released! Easily and safely provide #AshFramework actions to a lua script to be called in your application 😎. Works via the very excellent lua library by @davelucia.com!

I've been annoyed with doc hovers in Neovim being just raw markdown. This is fine but could be better. Eg, docs in Elixir are often written for ex_doc/hexdocs.pm which supports some extensions like admonition blocks and tabs. This renders like crap though in Neovim So I fixed it.

The NYC Elixir Meetup, organized by @davelucia.com and Kate Rezentes, brought the community together for a great evening of talks and shared experiences. Dan Janowski joined to share how to get involved with the Foundation

Don't worry, we've got another treat for you. Miki Rezentes is visiting from out of town, and will be presenting on Ecto Multis and Transactional callbacks.

Looks like this might be useful to some folks, I'll release as an experimental version soon. It definitely needs work for it to be production grade (error messages suck, some of the syntax needs to be changed to avoid accidental errors, etc).

So I wrote an #ElixirLang Ecto-like DSL for writing JQL (yes, Jira, I know) Would anyone find this useful?

In #Phoenix #LiveView v1.1.0-rc.0 we shipped `:key` support for comprehensions in HEEx. The idea was to finally be able to have change tracking in comprehensions. We did this by leveraging LiveComponents. Sounds easy enough, right? There were some problems though. A thread. #MyElixirStatus

And now I'm excited to announce that I was able to get the project transferred to @theerlef.bsky.social for a long-term home! TV Labs has already merged a number of issues, and even added a huge upgrade to grading thanks to @polvalente.social! #ElixirLang github.com/erlef/elixir...
