you can really tell which system was invented to be used via a slow-printing teletype machine and which was invented by people who got kicked in the head by a horse once a day

lmao apparently valve fucked up cs2 voice chat even more as now merely doing a map switch with a workshop addon loaded will break voice chat, completely breaking the workaround i used to use

pro tip proofread so you don't have to delete a post in embarrassment due to having too many typos

If you have anybody in your life who works in cybersecurity please hold them tight and tell them it'll all be alright this has been one of the hardest weeks in my memory

we smokin dat x509 kush im usin my private key of 420 to secure this mf

dave personally presents you his root certificate do you add it to your trust store

Dark@dark.ski

we out here distributing tls root certificates via resonite

well with how shit this week has been for sysadmins i cannot overstate how important having a functioning hypervisor is for homelabbers who also had to deal with this bullshit

it can very easily turn what would have been a nightmarish cleanup job into "recreate the VM/container"

(not saying they are infallible but using one effectively adds another layer in the way of compromising an entire machine)

needed to regenerate the root for my internal PKI because i accidentally destroyed my own key so i made dave do it

sorry for the ~90 minutes of downtime for anyone who uses my PDS i was unable to isolate the box until several hours after i had seen the nodejs CVE and needed to take it down to confirm it was still clean and patch nodejs itself

at this point we should all just bury our servers under 6 feet of concrete

yeah i wouldnt trust any mitigation as a solution to be unexploitable until patches drop. if uptime doesn't matter then the mitigation can be done fairly simply by doing the following:

emudhra when i ask them what their favorite rock band game is:
