Just to be clear... Prop 40 is a ONE-TIME retroactive tax. It applies ONLY to billionaires and would tax just 5% of their wealth — which grew 30% in 2025. California's billionaires would still be worth $2T+ AFTER the tax. The revenue will fund healthcare for millions of Californians. Vote YES.

Meta took down the No Kings organizing page today - the biggest day of protest this fall. They provided zero explanation. It stayed down for the entire afternoon until most of the protests were done. Outrageous. Put this on the January investigation list.

THANKS EVERYONE! I'm humbled by this outpouring of support for my new book! Thank you to everyone who liked, reshared, commented, and/or pre-ordered. I'll be responding to many of your comments soon, but I didn't want today to end without expressing my heartfelt gratitude.

#ShadowZone synopsis: On the brink of nuclear war, viral rumors of a safe haven draw millions to a remote valley, only to discover that a luxury bunker already commands the site. And the safest place to ride out doomsday soon becomes the most dangerous place on Earth…

All Trump’s malevolence and psychosis will be on full display right after the midterms. We’ve been here before in Nov 2020, and here we go again. The national nightmare of Trump refusing to accept defeat and dragging the country through lies, conspiracies and drama begins again.

I thought I knew the story of the "lost world" off the east coast of Britain, inhabited by Mesolithic people until rising sea waters engulfed it around 8,000 years ago... But I didn't know about the *tsunami*. Holy hell. 1/

The level of financial misalignment is as bad as I’ve been warning, and you’re going to see headline after headline of stuff I’ve said in the newsletter for years. I say this with both pride and sadness because being right is going to be many layers of horrible.

This may end up being the most consequential story I’ve written, or one of them. “How many AI data centers are actually functional” is the most obvious question of the bubble - and the most important answer to understand what’s going on - yet answering it with any specificity has taken years.

Free newsletter: I estimate that ~50% of AI chip sales - $200bn to $300bn+ - are sitting in warehouses, with NVIDIA selling hundreds of billions of GPUs years in advance. Data centers take way longer to build than hyperscalers are leading us to believe. www.wheresyoured.at/wherere-all-the-ai-chips/

"Even medical professionals are skipping health insurance because of high prices." A doctor and a pharmacist in Idaho just dropped coverage for their family of four. Their premium hit nearly $1,600 a month. If they can't afford it, who can?

it is shockingly easy to post AI generated music under the name of real artists on Spotify. It took us five minutes to do. You can do it to small bands, dead artists, even Taylor Swift. This is a giant loophole in digital music distribution that's widely abused www.404media.co/spotify-ai-m...

"The Nerd Reich" is the #2 on the San Francisco Chronicle's list of Bay Area bestsellers for non-fiction. It's amusing to see my book climb the charts in publications that otherwise refuse to mention it! 👀 But that's okay, we are steamrolling the gatekeepers.
