He is calming his spirit but also "patterning" his brain. How to describe the family of patterns formed by waves and foam. I'm sure he satisfied himself that had a pretty good handle on what was or was not likely. Dogs & humans love each other but can't do the other's kind of math.
We have one who looks almost exactly like this one. Her name is Baylee, 84 pounds of pure courage and strength protecting our sheep, goats, ducks, chickens and the goose. She’s our thirteenth. They’re the best.
13th! Wow I'm a baby then, Aria is my 2nd. I'm starting to look for another, possibly a rescue, cuz I'm 65 and giant schnauzer puppyhood is kinda crazy. Aria is turning 10 on the 26th.
Ten is a nice age. After 4 they seem to mellow a bit. The more the merrier. All but our first two have been rescues/re-homes. We’ve been at it since ‘94. We had six at one point. They chased a mountain lion off our property late one afternoon. It was fantastic.
I’m calling BS … no dog just sits there for an hour unless they’re chained up, drugged up or asleep. Were there no seagulls to chase? No human to harass?
