Fellow WA voters, let's bury this. I can't imagine any parent wants to subject their child to this vile "examination."

Washington State Democrats@wadems.org

Doctors and nurses are voicing their objections. I-638 would require EVERY girl who wants to participate in sports to go through biological sex verification. That means expensive, invasive, and utterly gross examinations. Protect our kids and let them play. Vote NO on I-638

rangemedia.coMeasure to require "biological sex" verification for all WA girls’ sports athletes on November ballotIf passed, the hedgefund-millionaire-backed ballot measure would enact one of the nation’s strictest examination requirements for girls’ athletics.

If I had a nickle for every time a bank cancelled one of our cards out of the blue I'd have a dime which is not enough to buy anything in this capitalist hellscape but the cats would enjoy batting it around.

(Turns out our account got flagged as compromised because we... wait for it... bought something from Japan.) (This is not too big an issue so it's more funny and annoying than problematic but yeah like oh no we bought manga that's what criminals would do!)

Yuri is for everyone! But especially for women sitting at their desks like an affair between two women gu heh heh!

BlumineOnion 🧅@blumineonion.bsky.social

The "yuri is male gaze" debate becomes gut-bustingly hilarious once you realize that, more often than not, the genre is created by female mangaka sitting at their desks like:

FUN FACT: With free shipping it is actually cheaper to order from Bookshop than an indie bookstore directly plus, at least for us, we'll literally get slightly more money from a Bookshop order than a direct order! It's the economy of scale! So go buy things! Feed our booksellers and their cats!

Yall thanks to your support over the last 24 hours we now have a stack of books taller than a Horizontal Cat heading to Books to Prisoners. Can we get a stack taller than a Sitting Cat or a Big Stretch Cat by the end of the week??? (Remember your donations are doubled so it's like TWO CATS!)
