Let's make something!
I find joy in making things, collaborating, and learning.

Explain to me why #LugiMangione, who (allegedly) shot and killed one man point blank and threatened no one else is facing terrorism charges; but #VanceBoelter who targeted 2 legislators, killing one and her spouse and targeted scores more and #NoKings marchers, isn't.

Shoutout to my transgender brothers and sisters. No one should ever be asked to show the amount of courage you show, and yet you are forced to display it every single day. I hope very soon it will not be asked of you in the very process of living.
Musk cannot be “turned”, “flipped”, “allied” with. He is a Nazi and he’s killed 300,000 people, mostly children. Anyone considering taking his political contributions or discussing allying with him has no moral compass nor should they be near power.
We cannot arrest our way out of homelessness.
Solving homelessness requires improving access to affordable housing, mental health care, and addiction services. People need housing, not handcuffs.
We don’t celebrate Pride for the rainbows or parades, we do it because *right now* someone out there believes they don’t deserve love, just because of who they are or who they love.
That’s why we celebrate Pride—because we want to build a world where no one feels that way.
Let us speak clearly.
All human beings have inherent rights.
It doesn't matter where you were born or what your physical characteristics are, you have a right to self determination.
You have a right to equal protection before the law.
You have a right to live peacefully and pursue your happiness.
I’m getting ready to kickstart the “Spring Sale” for my two courses. Hopefully, it’ll start tomorrow morning! ✨
I only have two sales a year: Black Friday, and this one in the spring. So if you’ve been thinking about picking up one or both of my courses, this will be the best time. 😄
Sending love and support to our transgender service members. Thank you for your continued desire to serve and protect this country. I’m so sorry this pathetic draft dodger has any say in who can defend our country and the Constitution since he has no intention of doing either. 🤍🏳️⚧️
BREAKING: A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to release our client Mohsen Mahdawi, a Columbia student unlawfully detained for advocating for Palestinian human rights.
This is the first order mandating the release of a student arrested by Trump in retaliation for their speech.
Needed to look this up last night to get the precise language of one of my favorite Toni Morrison quotes:
"There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal."
I can’t find the original bsky post, but it mentioned some current administration offenses were originally grievances prefix to our constitution. 🤯

*Dangerous Coats*
Someone clever once said
Women were not allowed pockets
In case they carried leaflets
To spread sedition
Which means unrest
To you & me
A grandiose word
For commonsense
Fairness
Kindness
Equality
So ladies, start sewing
Dangerous coats
Made of pockets & sedition
The fight for our most fundamental rights has never been more important. We're ready for what lies ahead — but it will take all of us.

Pete Buttigieg breaks down DEI for everyday folks…
“The opposite of diversity is uniformity. The opposite of equity is inequity. The opposite of inclusion is exclusion.” @petebuttigieg.bsky.social
Our problem: too many value uniformity over inclusion and they’re the ones running the government.

Do you know why Americans are angry?
Over the last 50 years, real weekly wages have been stagnant.
At the same time, there was a $79 trillion transfer of wealth from the bottom 90% to the to the top 1%.
We need an economy that works for all, not just billionaires.
Keep this in mind: The internment of Japanese Americans during World War II was carried out by executive order—from the President of the United States.

MUSK: A sophisticated cyberattack from Ukraine took out Twitter's servers
REALITY: Twitter's servers were not secured properly and were publicly visible
Great explainer here from @lhn.bsky.socialwww.wired.com/story/x-ddos...
Defend the liberty of a stranger as you would defend your own, or that of a loved one, because that is what's actually on the table—whether we are a society that will sit still as our neighbors are snatched in the night, and disappeared into darkness, or a society that will fight for each other.
Thoughts on boycotts: inflict pain on the corporation. Buying a couple 99 cent ebooks from a self-published author on Amazon is fine. Don’t buy a microwave on it. Purity is never the answer. Restraint though and thoughtfulness is.
