Did a little road trip yesterday with @coinflip.games to drop off all our stuff for shipping to Pax Unplugged. Also realising I might need a That’s the Spirit reprint soon cause with this dropoff I’ve got ~20 copies left. Maybe even an expansion 🤔

Had a great test of Lost Controls last night! Also, I’m realising my games of late are all “what if everyone was confused and that was a good thing”. (The players across the table are trying to figure out how to get the robot to stack the dice in a specific way using unexplained voice controls)

Pax Playground is about childhood, but not in some simplistic sense. Between its challenging cardplay and open-ended victory conditions, it captures the ups, the downs, and the apprehensions of having your whole life ahead of you. My review: spacebiff.com/2026/10/07/p...

Took a break from Out of Sorts stuff last night and had a great test of some scenarios for Lost Controls. Turns out it works great as a sort of spectator game where you get to watch the alien players struggle to figure out what nonsense rules the robot is operating under.
