⏰ Just about a week left to fill out our COMIC WORKERS SURVEY! Until Oct 31, share your experience and help reach pay equality for all cartoonists. For both self-pub and traditionally published cartoonists based in the US, including artists who make income from crowdfunding, cons, and commissions.

To properly measure results we would ensure no US workers would fill out a future Canada survey and so on because it will tamper with the accuracy of the results. Any submissions from other regions will be discarded. We are grateful to be able to compile this data & appreciate your cooperation.

Even if you've already filled out the survey in previous years, we still need to hear from you! Our survey team needs as many responses as possible to build a better picture of what comic workers are actually getting paid so we can push for more! The survey closes on the 31st, don't wait, y'all!

they should give me a mascot cosplay of inkling and nibford so I can run around conventions throwing paper and pencils at people. and also so I can wield nibford like a sword and start swinging them around. i think this would be good optics

Comic peeps, Cartoonists United has their annual Comic Worker Survey available. Fill it out if you work on or in comics. Artists, writers, self published, work for hire, or whatever. Skip questions that don't apply to you. The more submissions the better.

Our annual survey can offer crucial insights on what comic workers need to be supported, what has changed in the industry in the last 3 years, what publishers are paying us, the impacts of the rising costs of living, censorship, and more! But to paint that picture, we NEED you to take the survey! 💪

If this survey is overwhelming, share what you can, even if its just a few page rates, your Patreon income, or your personal challenges with your comics career! We have 140 submissions so far; we can't build an accurate image of our industry on a tiny sliver of our HUGE US comic worker population.

Comics workers! We need YOU to contribute to this survey! Beyond page rates & advances, we also ask about con revenue, Kickstarters, subscription platforms, & more! To make positive changes in our industry, we need to better understand challenges faced by traditional & self-published cartoonists!
