Nate Silver's lone good quality is he is a degenerate who will push the "Bet" button when he sees narrative not matching numbers.

ok I'm reaching a point with Kevin O'Connell where he needs to be taken down a peg if he's making an offense so complicated a guy who did the best version of Lincoln Riley's offense is still "acclimating"

Pat McAfee is best friends with Vince McMahon. That is enough for him to eat shit the rest of his life.

Oh the students have aged out of remembering him being on the Colts.

This post is unavailable.

Also the Colts being named Indianapolis Colts is a thing in the rest of the state so a lot of Bloomington townies probably have no feelings beyond current McAfee about him.

If any other sitting U.S. president was accused of something like this, it would be a front-page headline for weeks. For Trump, it’s just another day that ends in Y. We cannot allow this to become normalized.

Brandi Buchman@brandibuchman.bsky.social

Katie Johnson, 13, reported Epstein and Trump argued over who would take her virginity, and Epstein became angry and violently raped her when he learned that Donald Trump had done so. As shown by official FBI interview notes, Johnson, through her attorney, reported these alleged crimes to the FBI.

"The entire global right wing project was actually controlled by Orban and too many people attributed actual planning capacity to Trump instead" being a recurring 2026 plot point is hilarious.

If Republicans eat turbo shit this cycle like even more than expected? This absolutely becomes the narrative.

BTW check the year Orban started his 2nd time in power in Hungary...I'm just noticing.

I got $20 that says he’s still mad about Johnny Knoxville making fun of his album to his face but he knows not to get into with him so he went after college kids instead

It will be smith because enough voters will see the Mensah splits and give some votes to Mensah that should absolutely be Toney and I will be driven insane.

Bill Connelly@espnbillc.bsky.social

I think it's Jeremiah Smith vs. Malachi Toney for the Heisman (for now)? Also: Sam Leavitt is having fun, Wisconsin demanded representation, Easton Messer vs. Gael Ochoa was unreal, and your Lockbaum of the Week is a Sixkiller. HEISMAN OF THE WEEK: www.espn.com/college-foot...

Pat Riley's last act: building a 1995 roster that just ruins a closing year of Giannis' prime.

Jesse Raub@jesseraub.online

it’s really funny seeing social media clips that are like “look at this insane Giannis poster!” and then checking the score to see that, yes, the Heat lost another game and are starting the season 0-4

This is the inverse of "AD gives troubled Football HC a vote of confidence" where it's all good but the campaign sees one number they should mark as an outlier as too troubling because they've all succumbed to madness

The mcconaughey Wolf of Wall Street monologue has one prescient point: if you deal with changing/fluctuating numbers all day and have not had a release for the love of god go do some physical release before you panic about something.

Now that you've seen years of "AI exec says within 5 years everyone will be using AI" you're ready for the next week of "political operative says constituency they specialize in is at risk of not turning out"

A Prediction: The NFL is going to go to college splits within a decade. This is the first change to start the evolution to flag football as just football.

BTW this is the counter to Flores which will become the dominant defense in the NFL without a change because it's much harder to overload when the receivers can wide split.

We don't have enough NFL Quality Linemen to go under Center for most teams.

Denny Carter@dennycarter.bsky.social

The whole “under center” thing In the NFL has been a total bust. Most teams that talked a big game about going under center immediately abandoned it and those that stuck with it have done so to their detriment.

If you wonder why I think the first NFL change is embracing the college style of play it is because if you are a lineman in HS/College you are incentivized for agility over size in spread schemes (still need to be big, but not pro set big)

Pat McAfee shouldn't be on tv every day. He should be the guy from college you assume is dead now when in actuality he just works for his dad and was ordered by a judge to delete his Instagram.

So Greenwood Park Mall has a Gauchos Fire now and I ordered from it last night. That was great. Got a Brazilian steak sandwich and cheese bread.

If the cheesesteak is made properly and you're still getting mayo...he is a murderer.

Chicken Hoagie needs Mayo though, I stand by that. Steak no, there's enough fat rendered in the cheese imo when cooked properly.

If you wonder how bad the admin thinks the election is going to be: - OMB provided guidance to be very selective in approving Admin Leave for voting and not to automatically give 4 hours. - Admin Leave is not being granted for working polls or being an independent poll watcher.

I've worked as a contractor or Civilian Employee on and off with both R and D admins even Trump 1. Admin Leave for working the polls has ALWAYS been a thing. The 4 hours for voting has been a thing at least since 2008 where it gets approved pretty much without pause.

Like I don't want to say this is just skewing to get a target, but it looks a lot like skewing to get a target based on responses and adjustment.

Ok this Marist Poll is insane but it’s kind of instructive I think. Pollsters seem like they’re now running square into the methodological guardrails they set up after their big miss in 2020. I understand why, but maybe it’s wrong? maristpoll.marist.edu/polls/the-mi...

(I REALLY think the Marist article that came out today highlights the issue I've had especially in Michigan where the polling does not match the feeling of the race at all due to R overcomp because this is the first poll that looks right in like a month)

Doing telework to present for a CSR Conference. DID NOT REALIZE IS WAS THE OVERSEAS ONE AND SIGNED ON 5 MINS BEFORE THE CLASS STARTED.

They’ve suddenly become must see tv the rest of the season because this is enthrallingly bad defense

This post is unavailable.

It’s breathtakingly bad. Performance art bad

Cam@camislike.com

Goddamn the Cowboys defense is turbo ass

I pretty much always thought Pat McAfee had bad vibes but also I do recognize an upper management PR effort to drive down costs

Someone got promoted at ESPN and realized the network’s budget shouldn’t hinge on two people who maxed out their popularity way before this current saturation point

The wildest part about Pat McAfee's weird comment about the University of Utah is the video that provoked it... *this* is the video that broke him:
