I don't really know what to call it, because I don't really spend much time thinking about the "doom" and instead focus on myself, friends, and family and supporting them however I can through the storm. All I know is trying to keep track of the avalanche of shit got to be too much.

Is it nihilistic? Sure. But I'm a lot less angry/stressed these days because I am no longer constantly furious that things only ever get worse. If I see an opportunity to help, I absolutely will, but I don't expect any sort of structural change, so I'm not disappointed when it doesn't happen.
