I know the early days community-building shit on social media is annoying, but for SEO purposes, in addition to leftist/queer politics, I will likely post about- -writing (screenplay/novels, horror/comedy) -sports (Yankees, Oregon Ducks, NYCFC/LAFC) -gaming -queer travel -my two dumb cats

I knew that memory pricing had gotten crazy, but I just had to look it up and holy shit. I was price checking on Amazon and the RAM I bought in 2023 came up as "previously bought". First screenshot is my 2023 order, second is the current "buy it again" price

I need @izdaramola.bsky.social to know that 3 hours after reading this, Apple Music threw Yankee and the Brave into this 36yo white gay lawyer's workout mix; the RTJ brand is strong. (It also followed Pump Up the Jam with Knuck If You Buck, to which I reflexively entered a defensive ball at the gym)

I have developed such a crush on Vic Mensa, and the interview he did with Abdul El-Sayed, posted yesterday, is only making it worse. I would very much like to join this hang youtu.be/-Qpq-XQpk1Y?...

I'd have to actually run the numbers on this, but I feel like this has been the strongest Sep-Nov for new release movies in a while. I haven't been consistently seeing 2-3 movies per week in a while. Clayface had fallen off my list but is back on with the review embargo lifting today

this is an absolute travesty, especially with Mass Effect getting scrapped. as the other post I reposted said, what Saudi investors + Kushner are doing with EA is exactly the same sort of attempt at forced social hegemony that the Ellisons are doing with Skydance, and it's evil shit

Saudi Arabia (majority stake) and Jared Kushner (minority stake) buying Electronic Arts is one of the underrated instances of oligarchic media consolidation. Should be considered along similar lines as the Ellisons taking over Warner Bros.-Discovery or Musk taking over Twitter.

I was here for this, it was monumental, generational, and I feel like @richpalin.bsky.social specifically needs to know this happened

Everyone's naming their hybrid film weekends and I feel like my Ken Russell's Street Devils (Ken Russell's Devils Fighter?) weekend is the weirdest. Will try to see You Can See Everything tomorrow or Monday before seeing La Bola Negra on Tuesday. #vindieselsayingthemovies

I've been off this app for like 2 hours and the president had a rally where he said like 8 things that would each get 72 hours of news coverage and we're all gonna just movw on with our days. Exhausting

at the Mac Demarco show at the Hollywood Bowl and maybe it's the venue that's making me feel this way but... I am just realizing Mac is millennial Michael Bolton. Everything is basically millennial-sheen easy listening songs, and he's going full frontman persona this show

I am mad at myself for not pushing myself to focus on my actual creative writing projects (second draft of a screenplay, ~1/3 of the way through a novel) but I am happy to get positive notes back on my reddit comments

tonight was one of those "right, I do live in a bubble" moments, because I finally saw Digger (adored it) in a completely sold out IMAX screening where I, at 36, was definitely on the older side of the crowd. Sounded like multiple repeat viewers around me. Proud to live in Digger Nation

A+ cheek physics there

wait other 3rd base coaches don't send the runner from 2nd on every line drive single? do the Yankees know that's allowed?

this is a good bit. I haven't done 4DX since Twisters, but I feel like I need to support this bit

I'm 15 minutes into the new Carrie and it's already done the most important thing a Carrie adaptation should do: I feel deeply protective of this girl and I already want multiple teens to d*e

goodbye, 2026 Yankees. you played like nincompoops for far too long in the second half and were lucky to make it to the Division Series. I will not miss you.

last Yankees AB of Grisham's career?

Franz Ferdinand for a highlight clip? Have millennials fully taken over the production booths/trucks? (not complaining)

there's been periods where Jones has looked like a more well-rounded hitter, and then ABs like that where he just looks like a left-handed Giancarlo, taking big hacks on anything near the plate. frustrating!

gonna be contrarian- that one angle where it looked like the fan was way over the fence was from a camera itself way in front of the fence, pointing across the field, so the perspective makes it look bad. I think it really may have been gone, but what can you do

the hell they can, three straight yamamoto splitters and khamenei's back in the dugout before he knows what happened

"snowpiercer is trying to say that class societ-" WRONG, snowpiercer is saying that it even in the worst circumstances that it kicks ass to be on a train

this seems insane??? not doubting Sarah, she's the best, but even with a century of ineptitude this seems statistically improbable. baseball, man

I'm like 80% optimistic about the elections, but this thought does keep me humble
