I really enjoyed getting these photos from Ubisoft's Gamescom booth for Rayman Legends Retold (huff puff in sellout) it was such a comfortable place to be with very genuinely kind staff all around. Much love to Rayman for being present on the day when most fictional characters would've flaked.

Finally got around to listening to the new mix of Rubber Soul. Pretty flipping good. I always forget how delicate this album is as a middle point between the structure of their older work with the instrumentation of their future ahead. Always happy to have the hard panned mixes phased out too.

An increasingly common thing I see: people assuming that very small teams, making the childhood games we loved, only had really compartmentalised roles like "manual" or "producer". Everyone needs a job title, but there was a ton of creative overlap that mostly goes unacknowledged! It got messy.
