Flag shagging in the UK is a US import but you won't see this guy zip-tying a flag to a lamppost and leaving it to be ruined by the elements/buses. He's obviously weird but if you really love your country/flag, his approach makes much more sense. He's cringe but he's not trying to intimidate people.

My channel has a no generative AI policy. I will make terrible homemade thumbnails in GIMP forever.

Think I only have one publicly-accessible thing that uses PHP so you can't look at my website for a bit. Not that you ever did. It's fine. No, no, don't worry about it. Yeah. I understand. There are a lot of websites.

Assembling plugs. I guess for industrial machines or something. I get there in the morning and the supervisor says straight away "if it's too hard you don't have to stay" so I'm already unsure but I give it a good go. My fingers hurt. No talking. Forced to listen to Radio 1. I left at midday.

It wasn't a nice place to be. It was dusty and dark with a load of guys sat around a table picking up these tiny metal bits and clicking them together with our bare hands. It was painful. Everyone was miserable. Respect to people who do that kind of manual assembly line work 'cause it's rough.

They're fine. Whatever. Bit sweet. Bit spicy. Feel like Buldak could have been braver with these. That's my noodles review. Might stick to video games.

I really like the Famicom Switch controllers (shown here in my Devil World video being used quite wrongly) but what else can I play with them? NES games and Nintendo World Championships: NES™ Edition for sure, but are there any eShop games that play nicely with two action buttons?

I'm not doing "name your fave game made before 2000" because all my favourite games were made before 2000. What's with all these whippersnappers on my Internet? Whence did they all come? I know how those elderly people shouting "get off my lawn" felt and they were right all along, dagnabbit!

Without saying your age, what is your favorite movie that came out when you were 20 years old?

A lady sat near me on a quiet train and immediately started loudly scrolling TikTok. I asked if she could turn the sound off, and she turned to look at the wall like there was a switch there? Like I meant the sound of the train? She seemed unable to comprehend that other people could hear her phone.

A thermal bath / sauna near me has explicitly called out smart glasses in their "no cameras" rule and put a big sign up in the entrance. I saw a guy wearing them trying to get in and the staff were having none of it so he watched people going in. You can clock these glasses by how they stare at you.

I've been thinking and maybe the reason autistic people are exhausted all the time is because we have kittens.

School closures were probably necessary because Boris Johnson's government didn't do a bunch of other stuff they could have done instead. I think there is a more nuanced discussion to be had than "closing schools was good or bad".

🧵On @thenewsagents.co.uk yesterday, school closures and the lab leak theory were offered as two examples of legitimate questions that were hard to ask. Both have in fact been asked constantly since 2020. But here's a thread on why I think they were wrong and dangerous on school closures 1/12

Congratulations! You have been personally chosen by the creator of Smash Bros to add ONE character into the next game. the only rule is that they have to originate from a video game. who are YOU choosing?

British advertisers call it "full fibre broadband" for the same reason you can't buy white eggs in the supermarket.

If you're feeling frustrated just remember Nigel Farage is about to ask Rachel Reeves to appoint him Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead.

This is very good indeed. Shame she posted it in the CSAM section of Der Stürmer.

Yeah basically this. And the whole announcement was a party political broadcast aired on the BBC. Also makes the subsequent suspension if there is one seem undemocratic. Can level of a lot of criticisms at Farage, being bad at politics isn't one of them.

The tactic is clear: Bulldoze the various investigations into his finances. Recapture the limelight just as Burnham becomes Prime Minister. Win a likely victory to try and regain momentum for Reform UK after a rocky two months.

Pulling for the King of Belgium and steadfastly refusing to look anything up about the actions of prior Belgian kings to see if that’s problematic or not

Spa days are bad for me because it's all I can think of when anything even slightly annoying happens at work the following day. Network folder permissions? Fuck off. I could be floating right now.

Thank you, Your Holiness. For you I will write a video script about the Nintendo 64 within which, I hope, divine grace can make the promise of consolation and peace resound. 👍

For real though he's right and you (and I) should create stuff even if it's dumb because the act of creativity itself enriches us.

Ten years ago I voted remain but, I gotta be honest, I'm really enjoying the benefits of Brexit! (it's why I moved to Germany when I did and got much better pay and employment conditions)
