I don't want to be rude because I know cooking can be really intimidating, but the internet is awash in resources like this that don't involve AI (I too have dealt with metric issues! I too have dealt with half an egg! Making a recipe fit your specific situation is... how you learn to cook!)

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

The infamous "WET YOURSELF..." Super Mario Sunshine print ad is often posted online without context, leading many to believe it is fake or fan-made. However, it is very much real, appearing on page 130 of issue 119 of the British Nintendo Official Magazine.

Friendly reminder the original Beyond Good & Evil ended in a cliffhanger and BG&E 2 is a prequel. So if it ever ships it probably won’t even tie up the 20+ year story thread of that pig guy being possessed.

I mean, most random video game savvy people could run this company better. Your average video game podcaster would crush it compared to this (and last decade plus).

I think anyone who can prove they were at the Sugar show at the 40 Watt in 1992 should be able to get into the show tomorrow night for free.

this is not a person. you cannot watch this and think that thing sitting across from Mehdi is a real human being. it feels nothing and believes nothing. it has no immortal soul. there is nothing inside it. if you cut it open you'd find old fiberglass insulation and mouse skeletons.

A helpfully clear exchange here Hasan: "So your argument is that [Minnesota ICE protesters] should stay at home because immigration is a salient issue for Donald Trump. Opposing ICE is only going to help Trump. Wait until we win the election in 2028." Yglesias: "Yes that is what I would have said"

I stayed with this woman and her fifty cats in Jacksonville, and we drank beers together and watched CBS shows while she chain-smoked. Great time. $25 a night.

it's hard to describe to young folks how cool airbnb was when it first launched. just weirdos and spare rooms for like twenty bucks. we stayed at a guy's house in oregon who was a "bear safety expert" and when we asked him what to do if a bear attacked you he replied, completely seriously "i dunno."
