Andor isn't just the show we wanted, it's the show we need right now. A perfect illustration of the power of hope. The Mon Mothma speech gave me chills. It's the true spirit of rebellion to speak truth when truth is forbidden.

Satire no longer works in times of oppression if it's just designed to make people laugh at tragedy.

A reminder that Trump is NOT our country. Musk is not our country nor is Tesla. WE are our country. We owe Trump and Musk nothing. And Trump and Musk attacking us is treason against our country. Trump and Musk only have power when we surrender ours and when we're not looking out for one another.

Such an indelible image, especially without any context, and good luck explaining the full context. For fans of Emile, what a satisfying moment. #Severance

The way Severance season 2 wrapped up was so absolutely perfect. Troubling questions were addressed while keeping the larger context even more vague and unsettling. The fight for personhood and dignity is so satisfying to watch.

Canadian MP Charlie Angus: I am here today to urge Canadians to avoid travel to the United States if at all possible and to call on our government to stand up for our citizens who are being denied their rights through arbitrary detention in the United States.

Although this is the time to be angry and to take concerted actions to address the causes of that action, we can't stop mocking the people who demand to be feared. Comedy like SNL is largely missing the moment, normalizing this more than making it look ridiculous.

250 Venezuelans have been disappeared into one of the worst prisons in Central America based on Trump’s invocation of a law only used 3 times in our history - the last time resulted in the Japanese-American internment. These men have had no due process. It’s monstrous. nypost.com/2025/03/16/u...

We’re only two months in, & they’re cancelling research into pediatric brain cancer. They’re deporting US kids with brain cancer. They’re putting millions at risk of malaria, TB, & polio. I for one will never forgive or forget those who said ‘it won’t be that bad’. 😡

This is heartbreaking and enraging.

This is horrible to post, but I may as well post it. We are essentially shutting down research operations in my group, which is focused on treatments for pediatric brain cancer. I’m a well funded investigator, and there’s no choice. Science can’t function without the stability of NIH

Yeah, this is a perennial truth -- landmark struggles over free speech typically involve people who are saying and doing things that are *unpopular* That's, uh, why they need the protection of the First Amendment. It's sort of the whole point.

if you find yourself reluctant to support the guy at Columbia because you find some of the politics he espoused distasteful or even abhorrent, you should know that this is exactly the reaction that they hoped for in choosing him as a target for unlawful detention based on political speech.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Trump doesn’t push tariffs to create jobs (they don’t), lower prices (they don’t), or make foreign countries pay (they don’t). He loves tariffs because they make him rich—forcing businesses to pay him millions for carve-outs while your prices skyrocket.

No Western democracy should be relying on Starlink. How dangerous to depend on a lunatic.

Any country, corp, org, or individual that uses Starlink is subject to the whims, wishes, demands and insults of The Owner. Do so at your peril.

I barely use Threads anymore but somehow got suspended and no explanation for why. What a completely unreliable platform. What if I'd invested more time than just occasionally sharing and replying to posts. I worry about these social media platforms in the hands of untrustworthy billionaires.
