One forever-project of mine is (classic) redesign of my personal website: I started this like 2 years ago. It's just an excuse for me to tinker around. But one depressing realization: The design – even though predating claude code – looks very much like design-by-claude due to the color choices 😭

Who asked for this? Point of using something like Firefox as the browser is to have a stable browser experience without unnecessary crap. A browser is not suppose to have a swanky UI, the content you browser with it should be the one in focus as it has been for years before this version.

I've been using Firefox like 25 years or so. Even though I hate the idea of switching to chromium-based browser, it's very tempting to start looking for alternative browsers right now.

TIL when running Vitest browser mode (or plain Playwright) on Github Actions on Ubuntu, you can skip the slow "playwright install chromium" step completely by providing channel option. This makes Playwright use the pre-installed Chrome. So many projects out there that could speed their CIs with this

most of these github actions driven breaches are because of pull_request_target. here's some tips of what to look for when reviewing your own workflows. worth noting - it is safe, and necessary, when used correctly 🧵

On a 3h bus journey: Some a-hole blasting music out loud from his phone speakers. And you can’t say it’s ”just young people”, this one for example is some middle-aged MF. This behaviour is nothing new, but the lack of respect & consideration for other people these days makes me angry as hell 🤬

Got #iOS26 on my iPad Pro…and it feels like a skeuomorphic step backwards. It’s early days, but it feels like Windows Vista on an iPad. I tend to be optimistic, but this is not the direction that I thought design was going this late into the 21st-century. WE WANT LCARS

I really wish Disposables were inherited through closures. But that's not the case. You have to dispose of them manually if you wrap them in a function. This will be solved with disposable stacks though.

i'm trying out a new OSS funding experiment—a "featured" sponsor slot at the top of the Zod README ✓ features are week-to-week (~140k impressions) ✓ simple auction-based pricing (per-week or standing bids accepted) ✓ artwork subject to approval DM/email me if your company is interested! 🤙

Well, in the end it took the whole evening to build this ”new” desk setup, but it was worth it 🤩 Only new things are my DIY desk shelf / organizer and some ambient lights behind both displays. The camera and video lighting setup is not final one, but pretty close to my plans.
