Australia travel log thread! TSA made me do the body scan again because the first time they detected an "anomaly". I started freaking out but they cleared me on the second scan. Successfully made it through security but my first flight was delayed. Now to twiddling my thumbs for a while.

Y'all I have grossly underestimated the amount of effort my fellow contestants were going to put into this.

Today's fit

Work in progress for the pumpkin decorating contest at work.

I'm so bad at arts and crafts

Don't listen to the haters this game is incredibly good and at this price you can't afford not to give it a shot.

Shame about BioWare. Lot of good memories with their games and their latest one was one of their all time best.

Cozy day off vibes

I want to see you can see everything but I can't see anything unless I drive an hour away so I'll probably just wait until I can stream everything.

Got 100% completion on Castlevania: Belmont's Curse. 8/10, would recommend.

I'm liking the new Castlevania well enough but I desperately miss the days when my Metroidvania games didn't have Super Meat Boy platforming challenges around every corner. Did not expect Dracula's Castle to have so many spinning saw blades.

Shocktober 2026 is here! 01: Carrie (1976) We started with an absolute banger. This movie rules and Norma was an icon and absolutely stole the show. They should do a reboot where Carrie is trans. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

12: Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (2026) It didn't hit me in the feels like I Saw the TV Glow did but damn if it wasn't entertaining. Pardon me while I listen to Long December on repeat for the next month. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

13: Shutter Island (2010) I can acknowledge that this is a well made film but it's a story I feel like I've seen so many times before that it had little if any impact on me. ⭐⭐⭐

10: Carrie (2026) (Episodes 5 & 6) I bet this show turns out to be a better Life is Strange show than the upcoming Life is Strange show. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

11: Carrie (2026) (Episodes 7 & 8) Okay so this show was really good and I honestly can't wait for season 2. Just how many more Battlestar Galactica actors can he fit in? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

08: Carrie (2026) (Episodes 3 & 4) That Chris is a real piece of work. I like this show a lot. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

09: Needful Things (1993) They don't make 'em like they used to and sometimes that's a good thing. This film is an incomprehensible collection of scenes that isn't the least bit coherent unless you're already familiar with the story and it's characters. Also it's just so boring. ⭐

06: Aterrados (2017) A clueless policeman and a team of geriatric paranormal investigators investigate the most troubling street in Argentina. An original take on the haunted house story. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

07: Undertone (2025) Finally a movie that truly elucidates the horror of podcasting. ⭐⭐

04: Resolution (2012) This movie is really good but the ending could have been a little better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

05: Carrie (2026) (Episodes 1 and 2) enjoying this a lot so far but the distinct lack of Norma content is disheartening to say the least. Carrie's mom working at Walmart almost makes up for it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We have sexy pennywise costumes

Hello

Hello

Can't we all just agree that Bloodborne wasn't really that good and everyone needs to move on.

02: Timecrimes (2007) It's like Primer but you don't have to have a degree in temporal science to follow the plot. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

03: Insidious (2010) This movie is like if they let Bloober Team make a film. Absolute trash. ⭐

At least let AnyAustin stay pure for fucks sake.
