It's been 24 long years since the last original Star Wars racing game. Just ask Dennis. The Level 601 talks Galactic Racer.

The Stone of Madness hands you a whole monastery's worth of tools...which is great. Thanks.

Every Hallows Eve we do a spooky reading, available on the Duckfeed Patreon. Here’s a taste of last years reading – The Yellow Sign, a short story by Robert W. Chambers published in his 1895 collection The King in Yellow #horror #gothichorror #classichorror #spookystories #halloween

Sometimes people do these actions that are clear signs of joy. Road Rash 64 has that. With a bat…or a chain. From the back of a motorcycle. When you think about it, it’s essentially just human nature. We were born to do this.

In 1992 the BBC aired 45 minutes of nothing remarkable on Halloween night. Then the other 45 minutes happened. Ghostwatch is a slow burn that’s worth the wait.

It's time for more Stone of Madness! Black Mirror twist: your phone is the stone of madness. Watch Out for Fireballs 532: Stone of Madness (Part 2), now available! buff.ly/REsr8Vd

In the 90s we had Road Rules and we had Road Rash, and only one of them was available on the Nintendo 64. So sure, this an Abject Suffering episode, but to be fair, this game represents the best of 1990s athleticism. Nothing but peak performance on the back of a motorcycle.

It’s that time of the month. Your turn to vote for an Abject Suffering game. This of course won’t count, because it’s not the official vote on Patreon, but if you use the link in our bio to join us at the Duck tier for just $7/mo. Well now, that’s a different story. What’s it going to be? 🧵

Minneota Fats: Pool Legend (Sega Saturn) This is just a pool game, but I love the idea of a Minnesota Fats.

Saturday we'll be on stage with the Retronauts at the @retrogamingexpo.bsky.social, and we want to bring you with us. Leave a question in the comments, about our topic: Determining Value - the most expensive games of all time, and whether or not they’re worth your time.

We'll take the best ones on stage with us. Want to ask something off-topic? Go for it, but it’ll have to be good to make it on stage. Can't make it to Portland? Ask anyway. If we answer yours, we'll let you know.

In 1984 the BBC aired a TV movie about a nuclear strike on Sheffield. The movie successfully traumatized a generation of British kids, so of course it ended up on our watch list. We’re talking about Threads. The full Unfilmable episode is now available on Patreon.

There are a ton of things we should be normalizing in 2026, Shaggy eating dog treats isn’t one of them. For this episode of Abject Suffering we played Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights, which is essentially a platformer filled with dog biscuits and grunting dog noises.

If you're in Portland, or even in the region, come on out to see us if you can! Additionally, we're having a meetup at the Worker's Tap (101 SE 12th Ave.) from 8pm to 11pm on Saturday. It's a short transit hop or a fine walk to get there. And I can vouch for the bar being good!
