TIL: Here I am still adding `-ldflags` to my build scripts, while Go embeds BuildInfo details like git hash into packages since v1.18! tip.golang.org/doc/go1.18#g...

@microzeit.bsky.social The "68000: THE FLAME WARS" is sold out. Any idea when/if there will be a reprint.

So few followers, it seems developers did not realize Aspire is on Bluesky. Developers make this number up. I'm sure we can reach 1000 followers by the end of the week. Share for more reach! @aspire.dev #dotnet #aspire #developer
Happy 16th anniversary to @golang.org, the team that brought it to life, and those that have kept it going. #golang
Lots of devs, when discussing "vibe coding" as coined by @karpathy.bsky.social in his x.com/karpathy/sta... twitter post, seem to focus on just the first half of the post but not so much the second half (highlighted in yellow). #vibecoding #llm #ai

🚀 New in Zed: Bring your own agent, starting with Gemini CLI (@developers.google.com). → Try Gemini CLI with full code context in Zed → Build & run multiple agents in your editor → Powered by the new Agent Client Protocol (ACP) Learn more:
Looking to git worktrees (git-scm.com/docs/git-wor...) for this. I can have multiple agent sessions going and one for the human agent😉
Would be nice if we could come up with common files/locations. - Claude: CLAUDE.md - Cursor: .cursorrules - Gemini: .gemini/styleguide.md - Copilot: + .github/copilot-instructions.md + .github/instructions/*.instructions.md + .github/prompts/*.prompt.md - Windsurf: .windsurfrules Sheesh!
Perhaps something like this agents.md along with symlinks
I'm finally getting around to setting up profiles in @vscode.dev. I'll probably start with "Writing", "Golang" and "dotNET".
And a "db" profile, since Azure Data Studio is being retired (learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure-...). Maybe even db specific ones like psql, mssql, ...?!
Disappointed that @chocolatey.org is available in #Azure #DevOps pipelines but #winget is not. So much for "official" package manager.
Apart from being impressed (and a bit jealous 😉) with the number of papers read -- I just love idea, organization and thoughtfulness behind it: arpitbhayani.me/papershelf #tech-papers #pkm
@justingarrison.com @withenoughcoffee.bsky.social Just a thought, but it may be time to check-in with DHH on his companies (Basecamp) move away from the cloud world.hey.com/dhh/the-big-... and the tooling they built to help for that world.hey.com/dhh/introduc...
You are up to date.
