If we're all sharing what we like, I suppose I'll join in: 🎲 Boardgames Tabletop Roleplaying Games (Currently preparing a Mothership one shot to run for some colleagues Roguelikes PC and Steam Deck 📓 Software Dev Game Dev Rust 🦀 Learning Japanese Anime and Manga So hey, pleasure to meet you 🙂

Very excited for this one! Very very curious to see how it sets itself apart from other automation games, but if anyone can pull this off, it's ultracube guys.

Substructure (Dubious Design)@dubiousdesign.bsky.social

A rogue planet looms in the far reaches of the solar system. Your expedition mission must delve deep below its surface in search of resources & other secrets. Build complex, multi-level production chains with seamless automation. Play alone or with friends. This is Substructure.

I made a little link website using and I love how this looks. It uses @orhun.dev 's Ratzilla and some webgl shaders to give it that nice old crt/terminal feel.

Yesterday, #Factorio finally clicked for me. And all it took was making my trains a tilable blueprint, and watching my little robits putting it all together for me. Might be better than sex.

Wow man, the amount of work that must have gone into this is amazing. Great feat of gaming and storytelling, as expected from the best nuzlocker in the world.

After six months of work we are finally ready to release the biggest video we've ever made. The Run & Bun video releases Sunday March 30th 12pm EST I'm incredibly proud of how this turned out and cannot wait to share it

I'm not going to lie I completely forgot that Fluxx existed. It just whiplashed back into my memory as I used to own like 3 different copies of it. Where did those go?

Looney Labs@looneylabs.bsky.social

Star Fluxx is a comedic spoof of the entire space sci-fi genre, with Red Shirts, Cute Fuzzy Aliens, & references to Firefly, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Star Wars, & Lost in Space. What's your favorite space sci-fi franchise? And have you played Star Fluxx yet?

I had an absolute ball playing a first session of the #TriangleAgency #TTRPG yesterday. It very much feels like a toned down version of Paranoia, where as a player you have a vague idea of what you should be doing, but you're not certain, and you have some personal goals on the side.

There's far less conflict between players here. There's rules for it, but it doesn't feel like it's as encouraged in Paranoia. Which is nice, especially cause I'm playing it with people I did not know. I do still very much wonder what the GM knows that we don't.

I'm also very curious as to what the GM doesn't know: The book has a "Playwalled" section. Information that is revealed like you would in a choose your own adventure game. This way, the surprises don't just come from your GM and players, but also from the actual book. Fascinating!

Guides ruin gaming for a lot of genres. The problem solving you're doing is the game. It's what's fun and exciting about it, and without it, you might as well just read a book. Which is also good. Just different good.

So, so many...

Are you also suffering under "I have no time to play TTRPG's and neither do my friends"? Just ask 10 people if they have anything to do on monday nights. If they don't have kids, it's pretty likely that at least 4 of them will say "No not really". Host it at someone's house, one person cooks.

Halfway through this one, it's great. The only thing I'm severely disappointed by is that with a glance at this picture, I thought Cameron was haphazardly applying makeup to his right eyelid in the second row. Apparently I was wrong.

I ran my session 0 of #HeartRPG by @rowanrookanddecard.bsky.social yesterday, and it was amazing to see that with just a little lore help, my players (which have never played anything besides DND) came up with not only interesting characters, but also a thing they want to do. It's so cool!

Now I'm really excited for the next session. It'll take place at Heartcon, a semi-yearly convention organised by those afflicted by the heartsong but too cowardous to go deeper.

And on friday I'm running a #Mothership one-shot for some work colleagues. I'm gonna blow up a sun on a friday to make sure this AI that infects androids and trying to become human never makes it off the ship. The players? Collateral. (Call it the "Black Friday Protocol")

Running my first session of Heart next monday, and I'm mega excited for it. Do any of you have any tips for running this, especially for when your players really only know DnD? #ttrpg #heart

Being the most valuable player at any #TTRPG table means: 1. Play to lift up Listen to what people say about their characters and play as if that is true. Is someone charismatic? - let them persuade you. Is someone a badass fighter? - talk them up, act like it's true. You will make someone's day

I have lost the duel. She can sit there now. A duel lost to her means I've lost a screen and keyboard, all to warm her tiny tush.

This one's popular, and I think for a good reason so let me get it on my feed too :)

Aiko@aiko.works

For me, the most impactful TTRPGs to read are those that take my imagination and just, run away with it. I'll often just stare at the page imagining everything I can do with the information I just ingested. I think for me recently The Wildsea has scratched this itch the most.

Violet crafted something very strange and intense. If you like horny body horror this may be a book for you, even if you only read it and never use it at the game table.

Second, this one's partially cause I really want to help fund the second season because the @panictable.bsky.social actual play is underrated, but also because both Dog Eat Dog and Voidstream really tickle that "Oh, that's a cool take" center in my brain. Also I want the Blastex-Wilson patch.

My picks were mostly vibes based, and what I'm looking to get out of Mothership. But there's a couple I backed cause I know they'll be good.

First, Wages of Sin is published by the goats themselves @seanmccoy.bsky.social and Alan Gerding so I don't even have to think about the quality. Plus running a bounty hunter game makes it super easy to shift between modules and targets. Maybe it's finally time for that campaign...
