Just saw someone say their AI runs their fantasy football team and I can’t stop laughing. Like, I’m sure everyone’s doing it or something but it’s very funny to me that pretending to be a team manager was so hard that you needed to pretend to pretend to be a team manager

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

I need to raise $800 by Friday to pay for the room next week, but in the interim and beyond, I still need help raising more for work transportation and groceries. Tomorrow is another doctor’s appointment day for my gf in the city and I currently have no funds to take her there. spot.fund/gd5csfrsc

the right time for Pitbull to release an album called PITCOIN was probably like 5 years ago but i can't help but admire him for doing it now

Tim Curry's presence had 12 year old me hyped as fuck for The WB's short-live remake of Family Affair. That is true power. RIP.

Today's Free Horror on Tubi: MESSIAH OF EVIL is one of my 70s favorites. Not perfect but perfectly creepy, with a mix of subgenres, memorable set pieces, striking visuals and atmosphere. If nothing else it's an early post-Romero zombie (adjacent?) flick to check out. tubitv.com/movies/10001...

Can't believe Jimmy Olsen's corpse was thrown from a car onto the steps of the Daily Planet with a note saying not to look into the Grodd case.

Anything sent to the spot fund won’t make it to me until Monday, but anything I receive outside of it I’ve been adding to that as offline donations for transparency. Thank you all for your help! ko-fi.com/allnewdom

HALF NELSON was a 1985 Joe Pesci TV series that was cancelled after 9 episodes, but its intro seems to last forever via an escalating cavalcade of absurd cast reveals, underscored by a theme song that feels like a gag gift when you can't license "I Love L.A."...

Best known for his role as Reggie in the PHANTASM franchise, horror icon Reggie Bannister has passed away at 80. Don Coscarelli writes, "Reggie Bannister was a gifted creative collaborator, a dear friend & will be sincerely missed." Bannister starred in all 5 Phantasm films.

"Invaders from Mars" is a Gatiss story where the Eighth Doctor gets mixed up with a dead PI, gangsters, a Russian scientist, a Nazi sympathizer, and aliens while Orson Welles' famous broadcast of "The War of the Worlds" is taking place. It's a Doctor Who story out of my brain so of course I love it.
