Fawx & Stallion 🔎

We are in the final stretch of the Kickstarter - 70 hours left - and our stretch goal is a mere $750 away! At $11,000, we will theoretically, if disasters do not strike, will be able to pay ourselves (Lauren & Ian) a small stipend for writing, directing, dialogue editing, and promoting this thing!

We're a little late to the party - of course, the day of and day after we hit the greenlight were the very days we were too busy to post about the greenlight, never let it be said the universe doesn't have a sense of humor - but WE HIT 100% which means FAWX & STALLION SEASON 3 IS HAPPENING!

We cannot thank our fans, the audio fiction community, the people who statistically must exist who found us on Kickstarter and threw us a few bucks, enough. Creating art is a labor of love and it is labor, which I know from experience we will feel in the upcoming months, but today it's all love.

Oh wow. Huh. Guess we're gonna have to make this thing, yeah?

Currently sitting juuuuust under 87% so let's release some more titles, shall we? Season 3 episode 7 will be The Curse of the Misplaced Miss, guest written by Newton Schottelkotte, a Chicago-based sound designer, writer and audio drama creator!

Their pitch was one of the first ones we heard this season and it immediately felt at-home in our world. It's a real-time one-location whirlwind that is equal parts Catch Me If You Can, Dykes to Watch Out For, and Where's Waldo - stylish, modern, and a true celebration of historical queer culture.

Monty says please help us get funded so that he can launch his voice acting career. He's been training all year for this. At literally all hours of the day. That's dedication to the craft!

With under two weeks left in our campaign, we have just over $1600 to raise to make it to a greenlight for season 3! Pre-production continues apace, with the hopes that we can pull the trigger on setting recording dates the second we make our goal - but we'll need your help to get there.

The best thing you can do for us, if you've already contributed or aren't in a place to contribute, is help us spread the word about the show. Every small donation pushes us that much closer, so if you've been waiting for the right moment to recommend us to a friend, this is a great time!

One more title for you, detectives! Just before the season midpoint will be our sixth episode, The Curse of the Big Brother, written by Ian Geers and @lgrace.bsky.social!

We are currently resting at a VERY respectable 83% funded on our crowdfund and we are so excited to share our next GUEST SCRIPT title with you! The fifth episode of season 3 was written by the one and only @bobbys-snacks.bsky.social and will be titled The Curse of the Ruby Reds!

$8000 - we have officially reached the high water mark for our season 2 crowdfund, and the extra $2000 we're asking for will fund TWO additional episodes, a slightly expanded ensemble of characters, and some very ambitious designs!

We're delighted to share that the fourth episode of season 3 will be our first guest written episode of the season: The Curse of the Kitty Kerfaffle, written by Shawn Pfautsch and Jess Ridenour!

Through Chicago Children's Theatre, they crafted multiple immersive audio experiences in their Walkie Talkies series, designed to be listened to while exploring local Chicago neighborhoods and parks. chicagochildrenstheatre.org/event/the-gr...
