“Know your target and what is beyond it” is one of the four universal rules of firearm safety. You must know what lies directly behind, beyond, and to the sides of your target before shooting. ICE is incompetent.

Along with making a made for TV firing squad execution. Now we have decided that hitting a vehicle used by government personnel is now a crime of such magnitude that immediately execution is policy. While they deploy undertrained and inexperienced agents who use seriously questionable tactics.

THAT IS CALLED CONCENTRATION! They say when you are aiming at a Prey, you are supposed to focus only on the Prey and totally blank out the surroundings. That’s why an out-of-control vehicle killing pedestrians is not to concern to the ICE Goons when they kill a driver, always from behind.

Isn't it the job of law enforcement to know such things before shooting? They're supposed to ascertain the safety of all aspects of their operation. The safety of their officers, the suspect, and the general public were completely ignored by these overly enthusiastic armed thugs.

Feels like determining whether or not there are children in a car that you're indiscriminately firing bullets at would be step number one.

The post is stenographer for the administration. Shameful. One of several reasons I canceled my subscription. Bah. Do better, wapo.

does anyone ANYONE feel safer with markwayne mullin at the helm of DHS? he can't form a proper sentence so how is he going to form a functional plan to enforce the law? the man couldn't have anticipated he would be asked obvious questions so how would he anticipate ANYTHING in DHS going awry?

Release the body camera video and let the people judge.. these people lack credibility and will always try to hide the truth…

That agent must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The victim posed no threat to the agent so the shooting was unjustified..

This is a complete and total failure. FBI wouldn't handle things this way. CIA wouldn't handle things this way. NYPD wouldn't handle things this way. Law and Order wouldn't handle things this way. The Felon's ICE agency is a complete failure...abolish, reform, whatever, it must stop.

Masked ethnic-cleansing gestapo stormtroopers want you to give them the benefit of the doubt when their bullets start flying.

Mullin says ICE didn't know a 5-year-old was in the car. NYPD Commissioner Tisch says at least one agent fired 7 rounds. Oscar Belgal, 28, was shot in the neck. The boy was not hurt. Seven rounds is a lot to explain. Release the bodycam footage.

So they're murderers with bad intelligence. We must break these men. We must make their downfall so terrible that future generations live in fear of being punished as they were. The threat of Hell is not enough; we must make one for them here on Earth.

That’s actually worse. They discharged their weapons with no idea what they were shooting at. Violated the one of the 4 cardinal safety rules of firearms. Even cops know this

The gestapo doesn’t care how many kids it traumatizes, injures or kills. Not one iota. They care more about what color their next dodge charger will be than how many kids they destroy.

Another ICE lie. They had him under surveillance, were actively following him, knew who he was, knew he had a young child, where he was coming from, and had a plan to apprehend him. If they didnt know the baby was in the car then every agent on that team should be immediately fired.

Why the Hell didn't they know???? Isn't that the first rule of marksmanship? These #ICE bounty-hunters are not judge and jury. They are bloodthirsty murderers and must be treated like as such, not as heroes.

A child being in the car changes everything. Law enforcement must protect communities while also protecting innocent lives. Accountability and transparency are essential.

I'm sure they didn't know there was a child in the car; there's tons of stuff ICE doesn't know. In fact, ignorance is a defining characteristic of ICE 'agents' (& the agency itself).
