This kind man stopped his car to rescue a wild coyote that had been stuck in a fence for several days. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

I hope their leg muscles hadn't atrophied past the point of no return. I'm NOT trying to be a downer!!!!!! I REALLY HOPE this coyote recovered. AND I'm also considering that having your blood flow cut off for a couple of days is usually not a good thing for your limbs.

The coyote will die. A coyote can't hunt with that hind leg not functioning. They should have called an animal rescue organization to take the coyote to a facility to rehabilitate the animal back to a condition that it can survive on its own.

That coyote knew he was vulnerable. Especially as a predatory animal himself. So his aggressive attitude was instinctual & correct. Which is why I found his reaction after being freed so amazing. He seemed to take a moment to acknowledge the man's help, but still stayed true to character & ran off.

Iโ€™m so glad there are good people out there. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

The coyote is thinking, 'NO it is not ok!' Poor thing. I hope he heals up fast and doesn't end up starving. Coyotes usually aren't alone though so he has a chance.

This brave man showed empathy and kindness in an uncertain situation. No "thoughts and prayers," were done for show. He just demonstrated care and the best of humanity in action. If only people could demonstrate kindness as their first instinct when dealing with each other.

I know that poor coyote needed help, but the first thing I thought was that was the kind of situation that Wile E. Coyote would get himself into!

that animal needed medical care. he will only suffer & die out there unable to hunt for food. he may have killed him with kindness. he should have called animal control. they could have sedated him & taken him in to set that broken leg

Animal control would have killed it. Most farmers/ranchers would have killed it. Coyotes are considered a nuisance species. This way it at least has a chance at living.

Animal control kills wild animals. Animal Help Now! is a national go-to website & app that directs users to the nearest rehab & animal specialist hospitals in the area you type into the app. It is worth downloading to your phoneโ€ผ๏ธ www.animalhelpnow.org

I do park theater for children, & once a confused deer was running amok in the audience. I called 911 who said it was animal control's problem & animal control who said it was the cops' problem. While wasting my time w/ experts, teens doing community service litter pick up came over & herded it out

Well thats not the same thing, if an animal is injured or trapped or clearly needing medical attention then expertise is required. That Coyote would be dead in a week with a broken leg, if an animal is in danger or poses a threat of course we should act, but this wasnt that.

Local animal control came and rescued a hawk that got tangled in a volleyball net at a house I was dog sitting in. The dogs stressed it out before I saw what it was. I kept them away and took a video during the rescue. She took it back for evaluation & released it the next day. Tired & hungry.

Good intentions, bad decision. Instead of trying to wing it, this guy should have contacted rescue experts. With a broken foot, this coyote is likely doomed to a slow, painful death. Such a shame. A rescue group would have gotten him the vet care he needs. And you think this was a good thing? No.

You know that with a broken foot, there's little chance this coyote will survive, right. He'll likely face a long, slow, painful death from starvation. Instead of trying to wing it, this good Samaritan should have called rescue experts, who would have gotten the coyote the vet care he needed.

Unless you are an expert, the best thing to do would have been to call the local animal rescue. If he broke his leg or injured his hip, he might die. And if he's been there a long time, he is dehydrated. Experts would have taken care of all that.

Yes. It likely won't make it. The man should have called an animal rescue group to capture and rehabilitate the coyote before releasing it. I read the comments and it's as if the commenters only care about freeing the coyote, not about its ability to survive.

I was also thinking, if it had been there for several days, it must've been so very dehydrated. If only the guy could've tried to give it water. Maybe he didn't have any with him? Hopefully there's a water source not far away that the coyote can drink from to get rehydrated.

The coyote was able to motivate on its own. It might have a limp, but chances are, it's going to be fine. Without professional equipment to safely capture, the coyote, the guy could've done more damage or hurt himself. As it is, he went above and beyond what most people could do and was very brave.

Iโ€™m not sure it was broken. If it was like that for days, possibly circulation was diminished. Would take a while to regain mobility.

Ya know..... you have an issue dude. I hate Trump just as much as the next person however, did you know that Biden backed Trump1.0's illegal removal of gray wolves from the ESA? That when they were restored by a district court he appealed that? This is after he said he'd restore them. No? So STFU.

What exactly do you mean by this? Because it appears you're being nasty about a video of a man rescuing a trapped coyote from a grisly fate, for some reason, denigrating someone as a democrat for showing kindness. What kind of horrid worldview do you ascribe to?

So then the conservative is the one being aggressive when it clearly needs help then is all tail between its legs when it gets what it needs and then runs away with zero gratitude and will probably not learn its lesson and will do it again.

In the Zoroastrian religion, upon death, you are greeted at the bridge to Heaven by two wild dogs. If the holy hounds judge you worthy, you get to enter Heaven. That man is going to Heaven.โค๏ธ

this guy is a TRUE SAINT. He took the time and GREAT PERSONAL RISK TO HIS OWN LIFE to help another sentient inhabitant of Earth. It's too bad that animal control couldn't tranquilize Wiley Coyote๐Ÿ˜ and fix the leg..as with a broken leg, it will probably suffer nevertheless.๐Ÿ˜”
