I agree, I think we underestimate how much truth loses just because it's boring.

This is not just on the right, either. When I go to the bookstore there’s a lot of metaphysical slop aimed at “women who read books and are probably left wing feminists.”

The truth, i.e science in this case, is wondrous & fascinating & weird. But you have to want to learn about it, & sometimes be hit with the feeling that you maybe just aren’t smart enough to understand it. But conspiracy theories let you believe you have special knowledge.

She's seen those from both sides now...but still she doesn't know those...at all.
