: I wonder how many of these same people would not be offended at paintings of Jesus wearing a dress or something close to a dress?

Can we just kick Texas out of the Union entirely? The whole fucking state has literally caused possibly irreparable harm to this country. And yes yes I know there are Blues there - maybe get to work on kicking out the Reds and we can talk.

"I don't always give a shit about [the current thing], but when I do it's to shit on [women/trans people/minority groups]" - a lot of conservatives

"Do something we approve of or cancel it all!" Those are the kind of people who closed the public pools after they were told they couldn't keep them segregated.

Never underestimate the length to which school administrators will go to avoid the slightest scrutiny. Also Audrey 2 has a lot of suppertime possibilities down in Texas these days

I'm a tall woman. I was a tall child. I've played more male roles in theatre than not. Definitely been the "man" when dancing more often than not. This is normal. It's almost as if these laws aren't actually about drag, but about controlling what girls and women are allowed to be in public spaces. 🤔
