A major Guercino exhibition opening in St. Louis next fall. A rare opportunity to see his paintings together
This exhibition at the Museo degli Innocenti looks like an absolute mess. Practically nothing is related to the time she spent in Florence, but instead just the scraps they could manage to borrow from elsewhere
Even worse than I imagined: The exhibition also includes three works by the man who raped her in Rome (who, incidentally, also has nothing to do with her Florentine years). What are they thinking?

**early modern spectacle**
Ossoff: "I think Pete Hegseth is frankly a deeply unwell person who seems to relish this kind of brutality all the while he's running a department that is falling into chaos. The guy cannot run the military competently and is spending his time with this kind of obscene medieval spectacle."
