2.24.1 is up! - Quick fix regarding the "Add to queue" button not appearing in some specific cases

2.24.3 is up! - Fixed an issue that was preventing non-mushroom PDS users from posting in certain situations

Think something got messed up in the update – “actions on reposts” notifications no longer show the post, which can’t be opened at all lol

I noticed Chrome had an Install button when I launched deck blue today. I installed the app, but unlike in the browser, the "Add to Queue" option doesn't appear in the app. It's the updated version. I'll try to use it in the browser.

Really excited for this one, it's been a busy month building this new feature and I hope you like it! To commemorate, here's a 50% discount code for the two highest tiers: DBART24! And if you're an artist, please hit me up with a DM so I can give you a few months for free!

The main usage for this was thought of with a few artist friends of mine which basically boils down to this: - As an artist, you're now able to keep a sequence of reposts (say, every 2 hours) for your latest publications or even some old ones in-between; you can set it to "loop" until you change it

Hey could we use this for Distribute Aid? It'd be cool to setup a loop of information / fundraising posts at the start of a disaster and then focus on standing up the response instead of socials. We also have various updates we'd like our audiences in different timezones to see.

A related use-case for us, and possibly artists too, is identifying a queue of "greatest hits" or evergreen content and probabilistically surface it. Could repost from the queue randomly between other posts, fill gaps when we're not posting as much, etc.

You're also able to set specific reposts at a specific date and time in case it's some event, commission announcement or livestreams!

The minimum frequency is set to "Repost every 1 hour" because of this, I also do not want people to get spammed by this!

I'm a little scared that this will completely spam my timeline tbh. I've already had to unfollow a couple artists because they repost like 10 Posts so aggressively that my whole timeline was nothing but those ten posts, every time I opened bsky qwq

I'm trying the queued repost feature again, but I can't figure out how to set it to loop. I'm using Chrome. Also, does the queue only work when deck blue is active in the browser? Thanks!

to loop you need to set a repost as "keep on queue", that will make it so it won't be removed from the queue once reposted! you can do this by clicking the pencil/edit icon in the repost queue column also it does not need deckblue to be open, it happens in a server same as the scheduled posts

first check if you're on the latest version, try clearing the cache if not then check if you linked the patreon (in the settings) and have a scheduling account set up in the accounts menu (icon above the settings in the lower left corner) then on clicking repost, a popup with "add to queue" shows

Enhancement request: I know it's sort of cringe to some to mention Google plus but it did have this feature where you could scroll down your feed and if something new came up, You could go to the top of the feed, read what was new but then go back to where you left...

Just curious, are you planing to add an option to display replies with "context" (i.e. the parent post, at least) similar to vanilla BlueSky? This is honestly one of the things keeping me from using deck.blue, since a number of Feeds use replies as a way of "boosting" a post.

can you filter it like it was on tweetdeck so that it only showed replies from other people, if they are replying to someone you follow?

Reason I ask, is I've noticed that if someone is talking to someone else, and then replies to their own message, it shows up in the feed

that said, if you click on any post that is part of a thread, there's a "View full thread" on top of the column that opens up a threaded reader

Moderation labels seem to have disappeared from posts? Even with the toggle turned on. Also it looks like posts in Preview are even more squished and vertical in this new window format now, making it difficult to scroll through.

nope! i don't think any client implements that yet but it's indeed a good feature to take a look at
