It looks like they thought they could clear the bridge, realized they'd risk stalling or hitting it and/or a vehicle on it and flattened out their climb to stay safely under it before flying over it Probably should have just throttled down a bit and taken off AFTER the 2nd bridge. Was dumb for sure

In Sault Ste. Marie Ontario you can see several of these take off per day. I still stop to watch each time I catch one.

I can say they do not. Sometimes they go under the bridge between the US and Canada though.
