It doesn't happen in a vacuum Kevin Roberts, head of the Heritage Foundation, said in an appearance on “Real America’s Voice” that the coming “revolution” will “remain bloodless if the left allows it to be”—a thinly veiled threat against those who resist the far-right’s efforts to seize power.

For now the FBI is still searching who and where the sniper was and where he went. The current administration fired some good investigators and the FBI is holding someone in custody to pretend they have something while it's likely not the case Currently details are unknown

I filtered out all his content to keep my sanity for a good reason and today I saw a lot of details on why I did that It is all very extreme to me for a very edgy 6 figure or more business model. As a Christian he failed on Jesus teachings and some commandments part of a certain subculture

What sadly happened to him today was something he himself saw as inevitable without empathy driven by his own cult and somehow this is being projected on everyone else who tried to warn him from all sides I see a broken society and political environment at the moment but there's only 1 shooter

Personally I am not religious so all these thoughts and prayers feel hollow to me to avoid talking about the extreme political landscape even being projected onto us in Europe Even my local far-right is trying to use it to attack others in the political landscape and it's mindboggling to me

I used to be such an impath. But ever since Sandy Hook, the absolute COWARDICE AND CALOUSEDNESS of conservatives in ALLOWING THE PARENTS OF SLAUGHTERED CHILDREN to be RE-VICTIMIZED by being haranged by Alex Jones and his band of malicious morons, my compassion for 2A supporters is ZERO.

Our foreign enemies laugh at us and relish in the fact that our country is eating itself from within. Leaders who raise the rhetoric and then ask to lower the temperature are a joke. Take responsibility just once in your life. One can have empathy even though the person they disagree with doesn't

Here's a thought. Kirk stirred up people with hate and MAGA rhetoric. He supported this Nazi regime and didn't give a damn about the innocents being killed in Ukraine or Gaza. He also said America needs a few gun deaths to keep the 2nd Amendment. We don't need that type of thinking.

Sorry, as a European: Good riddance. Shootings are your daily reality. Your choice. You chose a "winner-takes-all" Las Vegas version of Democracy. Pepsi vs Coca. Democracy only thrives with 5 or more parties. Until you get there: See ya!

I disagree that this is "democracy failing." The country's form of democracy (corrupt as it is) elected people who won't do anything about the proliferation of guns, meaning that lone actors with grudges or mental problems or whatever can easily acquire the means to end another's life.

He never made an argument he fast talking answers that were extremely condescending disagree totally he just turned it on its face and back at you he never answered the questions he was a racist a homophone and he loved and praised that guns were good. Live by the sword die by the sword.

My heart aches for the parents whose children were slaughtered today at their school. Charlie promoted hate but he also encouraged the release of the Epstein files. Who do you think thought Charlie betrayed him?

We can mourn Charlie Kirk's death without agreeing with his beliefs, and we can reject political violence against our opponents without abandoning our deeply held principles. I think empathy actually demands that. However you feel about him, this just wasn't the answer. We need to do better.

Kirks arguments were specious at best. So now he becomes a martyr for the far right; snd no one is talking about the school shooting in Colorado today. More gun violence , with no hope in sight that the darned Republicans will ever support stronger gun laws.

Trump wins people over through lies and deception. That is not the basis for a democracy, but it is for a dictatorship. I just find it appropriate that CK was able to see what he believed in come true.

Try these numbers: In 2023, the most recent year for which complete data is available, 46,728 people died from gun-related injuries, according to the CDC. 46728/365=128.0219 per day. All enabled by politicians

Any shooting is awful, thoughts to Kirk family. When u spew hateful things like "blacks were better off in 1850" and "women pregnant from rape should be forced to keep the gift from God" what do u expect. Kirk never graduated college, was clearly just recycling Trumps hate issues to impress Trump.

Democracy was created to ensure freedom. And freedom must be defended. The USA are ruled now by a fascist regime that won't go away by praying! 80 years ago those who killed fascists were heros.

2. This is unfortunately the type of environment Charlie Kirk and the entire right wing wanted and fought FOR, not against. I'm not justifying his death, but let's start pointing out the actual cause of why there is so much political violence in the first place.

newsweek.comCharlie Kirk says gun deaths "unfortunately" worth it to ...The conservative founder of Turning Point USA made the comments following a mass shooting in Nashville last week that resulted in six deaths.

That is hilarious and so wrong on so many levels. Every single part of that statement is incorrect and ahistorical. You feel sorry for that piece of shit because you are a nazi, just like the one that was killed today. Just say that. It's a lot faster.

Trump’s hate and division fueled Charlie Kirk’s tragic death (9/10/25). His “MAGA vs. all” rhetoric—never unity for all—stokes violence. FBI links 62% of hate crimes to such speech. Trump will never stop, he uses hate rhetoric for division and control.

Just wait until trump uses the killing of Kirk as the kick off to a violent civil war and signs EO that the 2nd amendment must be destroyed to protect everyone or some version of this...maga will come unhinged from trump

I dont think MAGA is strong enough anymore.. The way people are, they are more interested in saving there own arses from becoming homeless, bankrupt and deported. Kirks death is a distraction for a couple of days, from the risk of them becoming jobless, homeless and there families dying from no

Kirk was an opportunist pod caster. He's not the root cause of our democracy failing, but it is failing. An entire political party has handed over their power to a king and the Top of the judicial branch, the SCOTUS, is simply a rubber stamp. So now it's in the hands of the people, but not Kirk.

Adam... why did you not mention the Democratic lawmaker's names? And no, we are not required to mourn someone's passing... we can be resolute that violence is not acceptable in any case... Kirk did not argue effectively... he only fomented hatred of others through propaganda for profit...

At a normal time in our history, I might agree with you. But this isn’t normal. The people like Charlie Kirk are leading us into this. He was full of dangerous rhetoric. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that some Trumper is the one that shot him. As to his killing, I don’t give a shit.

Shake your head. Kevin Roberts, head of the Heritage Foundation, said in an appearance on “Real America’s Voice” that the coming “revolution” will “remain bloodless if the left allows it to be”—a thinly veiled threat against those who resist the far-right’s efforts to seize power.

ACTIONS REFLECT LEADERSHIP ARE WE GREAT AGAIN NOW I AM SO SORRY Charlie Are we “Great Again” yet This is America now and it truly is awful. This is the worst time I have lived in and I am no spring chicken. Actions reflect leadership Sad day for us all 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻I wish Trump would stop 😩🥺😩

It’s horrific indeed…but is was an instigator. And targeted. So were the kids in their church who were mowed down. So were the politicians in their homes in Minnesota! Killing is killing. Some people are mad at THEMSELVES and kill others. And some are mad at OTHERS and kill them.

We are failing and have been failing for many years. Both parties have failed the people and unless we pull out of this downward spiral we are doomed to lose this country completely.

Charlie Kirk couldn't make a coherent argument. He just blew smoke and reinforced people's hatred and biases. And to equate him to actual public servants is an insult to public servants. Kirk was a manipulator and a tool of fascists. Never a leader. Never a servant, except of evil.

The one thing that Charlie Kirk's murder has proven is who is real on the side of women, minorities and the LGBTQ community and who is just paying lip service. The number of people against us is much larger than we could imagine.

Im old enough to remember Donald making jokes about Pelosi's husband being attacked in his own home. Im old enough to remember Charlie Kirk saying George Floyd was a scum bag. I guess I'll give Kirk his own words back to him. I dont celebrate political violence. Thats them. Im also not grieving.

Well Floyd was a meth addict whose case was exploited to fuel media and ideological agendas. Meanwhile, a white girl named Iryna was stabbed by a 14-charges-repeat-offender, yet the case received little mainstream coverage due to ideological biases like #BLM that favor social narratives over merit.

No one disputes that. But what happened afterwards. Floyd was taken as a saint and he was made statues monuments and murals. Meanwhile when it comes to Mexicans or whites who have an injustice or something happens to them, the 🇺🇸 mainstream media doesn't give a shit. That's my holy point

This misses many fundamental points. Not least of which was that Floyd was murdered by a police officer, *not a 14-charges repeat offender. Repeat offenders aren't sworn to protect and serve their communities. The officer served Capitol punishment without due process. And had a history himself.

Mourning 😄 its a great morning. Kirk supported gun violence, both locally and internationally. At the moment of his death, he was trying to deflect a question about gun violence to gang violence. He has said dead school children are the price of freedom. The irony I wouldn't mourn Goebels either.

When a school gets shot up, the MAGA fascists are all "don't make this political", but when it's one of theirs, in a staggering show of hypocrisy, they suddenly need to do something about the "democratic violence".

Faith summed this up in the1970s.we creatives right. Not one of you Repugs listened. U had the good sense to open you eyes and try to bring back responsible government. What now? Kirk was a shameless opportunist who had no compassion and thought guns trumped people who were collateral damage.

How about the argument that black women don't have enough brain power? How about women should submit to men. There's no arguing because it's garbage. How dare you even give him one ounce of respect.

And MAGA has taken us back to the days of cavemen. Political violence has been implemented via policy and executive orders for over 7 months now. The rule of law doesn't matter to them. Not applauding murder, but I sure as hell won't help look for the shooter.

Mourning WHAT, exactly?! Are you f’n kidding me?! Mourning a WHITE SUPREMACIST??!! Seriously?! OMG! You ppl are unbelievable! NO…WE ALL DON’T need to be mourning over a lowlife piece of garbage openly & unapologetically RACIST Scumbag! The lowest of the low! Just bcuz you curry favor with the guy…

…don’t ever expect others to do the same! His nasty & disgusting words did more damage to more people of color & keeping the division in this country alive, than that perfectly aimed bullet as in went through his stupid neck! I’m not going to apologize for not “admiring” a white supremacist! PLEASE!

Trump sent mob to murder elected officials on 1/6/21. To skirt justice for 90 felonies. Now post conspiracy to defraud the US government. Trump is guilty of over 100 felonies. Will Trump step down in 2028 and accept accountability for his crimes?

Could Kirk make a compelling argument? I keep hearing this throughout comments of people who disagreed with him, but want to seem decent. Just because someone is argumentatively dog-whistling to racists and sexists doesn't mean they make compelling arguments.

But it is the 1960s - the temperature in the country is very similar, the rhetoric, the disdain for anyone who is different, the lack of civility, respect and empathy for other human beings - all are leading to something. It can be anarchy or it can be rebirth. Right now, anarchy is winning.

This sickens me. I found Charlie Kirk to be reprehensible in his views and the hate he spewed, but in a democracy it was his right to be a jerk. Not sure the killer's motivation but this was awful. I am so sick of the anger that divides our country and the violence coming out of it.

Whoa! I lived through the ‘60s and not once did I go to school and worry about getting shot! Today’s world has become more violent and unhinged. It’s not just our country but worldwide and I really am concerned about the future of all mankind.
