every single reporting of this new feature is extremely obnoxious because its fearmongering about a highly requested feature that stems from discussions surrounding troubleshooting and whatnot becoming relegated to closed off discord servers instead of public forums and discussion boards.

Reading this Famitsu interview Uchikoshi did and it seems that the reason the Crash Keys game was canceled was because *Uchikoshi* wanted to use AI, not the publisher. This snippet is driving me nuts. Makes all the posturing with Hundred Line read extremely shallow.

"ahh but fans will be happy if the games release quicker" no because you will have gotten Lazier with AI and went from "ah im letting it do repetitive work" to "ahh im clueless let me ask grok what color my character's pants should be because we're all unsure"

@yumarowen.xyz

it will also result in more frustration because something that had you Talk with your team will result in you talking it out with the AI and everyone will just have to be like Oh Ok and now they're like robots!! congrats!! motivation DOWN!!

it's like. yeah i get pissed off when my art director comes at me with so many instructions because it'd be so much easier if they could do it themselves and all but thats my Fucking Job. so i'll get annoyed and do it regardless because ITS MY FUCKING JOB!!!

I appreciate that people want a new Mass Effect, but the future where fans advocate for the work itself and not the people who make it is the one the vultures at EA want. If you'll take it however you get it, they can keep treating people who make what you love as expendable.

kotaku.comWhat Does It Even Mean To ‘Save’ Mass Effect? - KotakuThousands of fans are rallying around a campaign to save the series after BioWare's shutdown, but what does that look like?

Don't let billionaires convince you slop is the future. They're used to managing & directing, not making things themselves. Of course they can't see the difference. They don't understand your love for the craft. Keep making personal, beautiful games. You've got my support 💖

@yumarowen.xyz

ok i'll start with modding starlord in tower unite as per usual. then i'll put him in left 4 dead 2. then i'll put him in project diva but might call for help from other modders at that point fjklsjfdlk

like, there are guides for it but 90% of them say they're outdated and to use something new that, does not have an "updated" guide and said outdated guide is still being linked everywhere so. what

also looking into constraints for the bones is like a secret that's being hidden not because of gatekeeping or whatever, it's probably just. VERY technical and annoying to explain and no one wants to explain that to a stranger that just wants to make one mod and disappear. i get it JDLKQZJDKL
