I think the current occupant of the White House is truly living in a different reality. It's carefully curated by both his handlers and sycophants to stroke his ego and make him believe he really is the greatest president ever. Not that he would care if he knew the truth.

They use fear mongering and lies to get into office. When was the last time they actually followed-through with the promises they made? They only know how to wreak havoc and sow hatred. I'm so fucking sick of this shit 🤬

No tool be it AI or the latest physical tech will ever reduce the labor demands on the workers as long as companies care more for profits than the people they employ. Twice the productivity means you can get by with half of the workers. Labor is not reduced except for those who are now unemployed.

News outlets, if you put false or unconfirmed data in large print on the front page but then issue a retraction in the bowels of your paper or website, you are participating in propaganda.

This confirmation hearing is a show of force for the GOP. Blanche will lie, dodge, insult, and say disqualifying things throughout the hearing and then be confirmed anyway as a middle finger to the Democrats and all Americans who still believe in the rule of law.

Our future is looking less Star Trek and more Cyberpunk.

Modern 'journalism' has gone the way of politics where people are more concerned with access to power and influence than they are with truth and doing what's right.

This country needs to do away with ethics guidelines and ethics rules and replace them with ethics laws.

So tired of these news channel "discussion" panels where instead of having 2 or 3 people having a reasonable discussion, the have 6, 7, 8, or more shouting over the top of each other the whole program. Plus, they all have to include at least one person who's only purpose is to be a troll.
