i really should just jump into a standard deadlock match but my movement still sucks and doesn't feel like it's getting better at all

had 2 bot games as infernus where i played passive and didn't push wave and lost and the other where i played real agressive and pushed wave constantly and won yeah every single deadlock "pro" player was right about objectives surprise surprise lol

i'm like the opposite of most deadlock gripes where i've always liked a game that prioritises objectives and chores based gameplay like this and the items not being called "glimor's embiggener' means that the shop aspect ends up not being that hard on the mind (hell you can bypass it with guides)

i'm not dunking on people who don't like a moba but it's nice to know that even if i'm not shnice with the aim and movement, i can make meaningful contributions

I hope the ASIO guy watching my account doesn't get too sus about all this research I'm doing about Andrew Wilson the EA CEO

it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

also lowkey preying on people who might not too savvy about getting and emulating older video games

This is another reason why AI losers have gotten into retro decomp/recomp projects. Nobody wants to play AI slop games, so they have to reinforce the value of AI by producing something desirable, which in this case is just repackaging the work of actual talented people.

going into every deadlock game and saying "i'm learning this guy" even if i have a hundred hours on them because we're always learning in life brother

Realising that I play Deadlock, and any other online game, the way I played MH3 back in the day Spending enormous amounts of hours playing on my own offline before even heading online so I don't "embarrass myself" I think the first online Lagi I fought I carried the whole thing and was like "huh"

Wile E. Coyote, despaired, takes a bucket of paint and a brush and paints a beautiful two-bedroom house on a mountainside. He paints a beautiful coyote wife in the window, and two adorable coyote kids running around in the yard. He tries to enter this new coyote life, but it is inaccessible to him

The key part of this "guy" is he doesn't think that this is "good" but that it's better than conceding his hobby to an imaginary cultural enemy. It's a full blown "cut the nose to spite the face" psychosis because they don't like third person singular pronouns or substituting untranslatable jokes

“bsky is boring!” 1) good 2) social media should not be a cornerstone of your everyday entertainment 3) I find new artists to follow every day and look at pretty art endlessly on here when I feel like it 4) get a tactile hobby where you create something with your hands 5) read book 6) walk outside
