liking I Am Your Beast so far

i got to review the switch 2 port of I Am Your Beast! by the third level I was already feeling the Neon White time attack monster writhing inside me again, and the game's got quite a few more levels than i was expecting. played great on handheld as well

i continue to be terrified by what happens as soon as we put an i am your beast level in someone's hands delightful

I adore the time system in Blood of the Dawnwalker (interesting to see this and and a few other games exploring these ideas in the same year). Creating a limiting factor in an RPG--so I literally *can't* do everything*--makes it so much more likely I'll actually finish it! I'm making choices!!

Do not sleep on this one. Narrative deckbuilding shenanigans (with maybe a little Inscryption inspiration) from the makers of The Magic Circle and The Blackout Club. Also the first thing the game asks is if you want the script and voicework in modern english or 17th century theatrical prose.

I Am Your Beast was so good. Now there's more of it. Which is more good. Alphonse Harding is a fun character. A soft-spoken and introspective Turbo Rambo who will reduce hordes of soldiers into pudding before taking that One Last Job they're offering.
