For the last couple months something's been in the works and I couldn't be any more excited to finally announce it!
The Weekly Dev's Brew Podcast goes Live June 9th!
🧵 Weekly Dev's Brew #15 just dropped ☕
Some solid progress this week - Angular signals hitting stable, Nuxt 4 timeline, and noteworthy build performance numbers!
Plus thoughtful technical writing, and we've been working hard the last months for some pretty big news ourselves👇
The latest episode of the Weekly Dev's Brew seems to resonate with lots of folks.
I got Mario Zechner (creator of Pi) properly grumpy about AI coding: why code is never free, why spec-driven dev is just waterfall again, and how he survives 50+ AI PRs a day.

Going live in just a bit with Jason Torres to walk through what's new in WebStorm 2026.1.
We're covering updates across TypeScript, Angular, Vue, Svelte, and Astro, plus some of the recent JetBrains AI improvements.
3PM CET, come hang out and ask questions!

Ok, I'm in: if you build a plugin for JetBrains IDEs, I can review your Gradle build script.
I'll verify if caching works, introduce all those good practices, and even migrate it out of Groovy.
Drop me your GitHub repo, and I'll pick it up next week on the live stream! On me!
Cursor is now available as an agent inside JetBrains IDEs through the Agent Client Protocol.

I did write a blog post about using an AI loop in the IntelliJ monorepo. Not sure if the results are surprising though...

It took a lot of tinkering, but finally, I did it. I have my favorite font in PyCharm's and WebStorm's terminal.
Here is how you can do it too:

I turned a gaming handheld into a coding workstation. 🤯
❌ No Keyboard

Should I start creating content using AI? Would an AI audience be interested in it? What about you?
Watch my colleagues, Michelle and Paul, who discuss this issue — it's only about 10 minutes long. I bet you can focus for that long!

JetBrains launches Junie, an "agentic AI" assistant built into its IDEs, promising more autonomous coding and hinting at the future of development workflows. #ai
For WebStorm 2026.1 we want to hear what matters to you. Vote for issues or feature requests and we will do our very best to get those into the 2026.1 release!
I've been using GoLand and Junie, JetBrains AI coding assistant.
GoLand's Productivity Guide shows that I haven't really been using the features of my IDE at all! I think in a real-world project I'd be using a combination of Junie for the boring stuff and hand coding the interesting pieces.
