if you ahve built something (either an app or a library!) with lustre i'd love if you could fill out one of the issue templates here: github.com/lustre-labs/... it'd be great to start building a collection to showcase ^.^

I have a bunch of changes that could be Elm 0.19.3. It's basically all "compiler improvements" that will not be visible to users, so I looking for feedback on which aspects sound most interesting. Let me know here or in the more detailed thread! ⬇️ discourse.elm-lang.org/t/help-plann...

The look of AI art and AI apps reminds me of buying jeans with holes or "worn" looking furniture. You want to look like you've put in hard work and effort, but it's all a facade. I'm not saying you can't use AI, but people can tell the difference between the facade and the real hard work.

trying to find contract work is proving to be a real slog 😔

cc @eslint.org @biomejs.dev @boshen.github.io. I don't know whether this is a problem you also want to take a look at. Or have solved! If so, I want to know how 😄

It's (apparently) been a while since I last wrote a blog article, but here's one about a problem with linters that you won't encounter when using elm-review jfmengels.net/concurrent-l...

Today's fun: the Steam Revenue Report: weloveit.io/developers/s... This is a snapshot of estimated earnings for games on Steam (using the Boxleiter Method), alongside different ways to slice the data. How concentrated are sales/reviews? What does a typical game earn at a given percentile? Etc.!

weloveit.ioThe Steam Revenue Report — We Love ItEstimated earnings for every game on Steam. Constantly updated, free, and every number is clickable.

Is "effect poisoning" a thing? Came to mind while reading a blog post about making a change in `func wibble()` and how that might unknowingly break `func wobble()`. I feel like that should have a name

What's the best model you've found for doing technical writing/docs? Claude: garbage prose, impossible to work with Sol: extremely dense, says "It's not X, it's Y" in the second paragraph of every doc Gemini: kind of an idiot

I wish the Tidewave debug element would copy the elm-watch debug element. The Tidewave one keeps getting in my way and takes far too much effort to move. The elm-watch element is so tiny and super easy to move. The elm-watch element also has more options for placement

The artifacts on the B are from "not triangles" 🤦‍♂️ being exported from Blender and then attempting to import them as triangles. 30 min wasted on "did you remember to check the box????"

Got an hour to spare today or tomorrow? Leave some kind comments on things you enjoy. Tell a developer they're doing a great job, or let an artist know their work is incredible. It can make a big difference in someone's day, trust me.

My new book obsession is City Government: The Record of the Milwaukee Experiment. Only 1/4 of the way in, but it's really fascinating to see how times don't change all that much even in 90 years

I realize this is very unlikely since I never post about music stuff, but: if anyone in Washington State has a good condition Yamaha CP-300, and wants to trade it for a brand-new Yamaha P-525, I would love to talk to you :)
