one of the things i hate most about AI shit is how people defending it will be like "erm but what about if they have a really good idea they cant implement?" ideas dont fucking matter. we dont need more "idea guys" they're a dime a dozen and never original actual quality and effort is what matters

The best part? This doesn't touch your vanilla saves; these modded saves are completely independent of your vanilla saves and those can still be accessed outside of Lunatic Pit! Also, fun fact: that background gradient you see when you hover over the arrows is actually vanilla, it just went unused!

Everybody always asked me while I was in school "what do food scientists even do?" well, among many other things based on your exact interest, they proactively prevent your food from making you shit your pants and die like you're seeing all over the US right now.

It wouldn't be so bad if my food science degree & food safety qualifications that I just spent 3 years getting weren't worth literally nothing right now. My student loan payments eat up so much of my savings & income and I can't get a decent job or even TRAINING to make up for it

I haven't replaced many of my lost things ever since the house fire because I haven't been in immediate, dire need & a lot of things have been provided for me in rental home. thankfully I have a decent chunk of savings right now & some things that weren't in the old house

at the end of the day though I am really, really excited to move to a blue state and live with a very close friend of mine. it's going to be an extremely difficult transition but probably one I can manage if I work stupid hard. i may shill for help paying rent & student loans. i apologize in advance

things are going to be really difficult for me financially. Pretty much all of the money I make in a month even if I get to 40 hours a week at retail is gonna be eaten by my share of rent & bills with a roommate, student loan minimum payment, and insurance deductions

the plan currently is to finish up an update for lunatic pit, get it stable and then out ASAP, then immediately start working on youtube content so I can eventually make some money in the background, but rebuilding my entire life way out of town is going to be difficult ;^;

A big reason why I decided to even go into food science to begin with is specifically because I was promised job stability. There are always food jobs. everyone needs food. demand drives innovation and R&D, and food safety is critical infrastructure that we can't do without. So much for that :/

$57,000 in debt to the same government that slashed the exact critical infrastructure that I spent 3 years studying to support, and now nobody is hiring (let alone at a halfway decent wage) for what I want to do because the FDA is too underfunded to effectively regulate & prevent outbreaks anymore.
