We have to think about collapsing Trump poll numbers and Rs turning on him the same way we'd think about finally being able to corner a rabid raccoon in your garage. Good news: he's out of options. Bad news: he's a rabid raccoon.

😳 Trump loses it and SNAPS at a string of reporters, says Ilhan Omar might "go to jail," calls Somalia "a shit house," and boasts that thanks to a new program he announced today Americans "will make millions of dollars by turning others in" during absolutely deranged Oval Office event Supercut:

The thing about Jan Crawford’s “diatribe” and CNN’s “heated” is, we all could see the whole exchange with our own eyes, but it suggests they’ve fucked up a lot of coverage of things we couldn’t see.

This is a really striking tweet.

These mainstream media companies truly believe that because no one on the right trusts them they need to make it so that no one on the left trusts them either

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist political movement, during a heated exchange at a town hall. https://cnn.it/4s7r1TL

Given the news that Meta throttled Lula in Brazil and stories like this one below every Dem state legislature should open an investigation into whether the platforms have attempted to influence elections in their states.

(THR) - TikTok has banned the entire Musk film account, citing political content that violates its policies. .. raises concerns about Big Tech suppression that the very film seeks to expose.” @thr.com www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politic...

Just watched Class of Nuke ‘Em High and reading some of the reviews online it’s clear to me that straight men do not know what “camp” is

The thing about this myth is that if someone crosses a boundary during sex by accident and truly respects their partner, they would stop as soon as it’s clear the other person isn’t comfortable, apologize, not do it again, and thus it wouldn’t be reported to Title IX in the first place

rax ‘levon honkers’ king@raxkingisdead.bsky.social

a little louder for the cheap seats in the back

I think a lot of empathetic men really do think that this accident framing is valid because they think if they were to ever be accused of anything it would be because of unintentionally crossing a boundary, when really there are lots of men who understand but don’t value consent

Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

In light of Ella Langley discourse I decided to check out Apple Music’s Global Top 100, and I saw that Justin Bieber’s Beauty and a Beat is number 18 and The Weeknd’s Wicked Games is number 25. Is it suddenly my freshman year of college again?

It’s so funny for this discourse to hit Bluesky a week after it already happened everywhere else

I’m sorry, but if you bring an iced coffee - or any damn beverage at all - to a job interview, you’re disqualified. It’s not hard, people.

This dude says he doesn’t remember his own zip code or phone number and Ezra Klein’s instinct is to flatter him by saying he’s a “big reader”

Matt Ford@mford.bsky.social

Ezra Klein asked Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang about AI making kids worse at math and reading. Huang’s reply: “Does it matter?” Then he said he doesn’t know his own address or phone number. “We’re going to lose some fine intellectual dexterity.” www.nytimes.com/2026/09/23/o...

As a former metalcore kid whose first shows were Earth Wind & Fire and the Doobie Brothers this Turnstile/Thundercat show I’m at is fucking hitting

Someone should ask James Talerico (or any of these politicians pivoting towards transgender sports bans) if Miles Garrett should be banned from playing football because it isn’t fair to the other players

No starker example of the media having different rules for each political party. If the press treated Elon Musk like Hasan Piker, every Republican in America would be forced to answer questions about why their party's biggest donor espouses anti-semitic race science.

Addendum to all of this: If someone claims to be a player on the San Francisco 49ers, your next question should be what his current injury is and how long he expects to be out

Something uniquely apocalyptic and destabilizing about being shown snuff films of people dying in a catastrophic flood of water next to posts about the president renaming the body of water I grew up by in a fit of jingoistic pissantry

zero bad bitches hitting my line this week..mercury must be in gatorade 🤣 ⓘ 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 All Gatorade beverages have been within acceptable mercury levels since the US Food and Drug Administration reclassed Gatorade as seafood in August 2015.

It’s really funny that pro-ai people have made up a fake slur and are now trying to astroturf anti-ai people into using it

The penchant towards infantilizing an adult woman complicit in the broadest misinformation campaign in American history is simply stunning ... she is not innocent

Trying to think of the last time there was a genuinely new sound in music and the most recent thing I can think of is SOPHIE and the PC Music tracks in 2014/15

Gotta hand it to Phoebe, I never expected to hear Justin from Godflesh and Mike from American Football play guitar together on a song about being in love with Bo Burnham

Plenty to reflect about re: the Arday affair, but I'm going to repeat this one thing. The playbook the right used here is effective even though it's not especially sophisticated, as it relies on the audience to do the dirty work. I've been calling it "Trojan horse propaganda", let's go with that. 1/
