Because no matter your race, religion, gender, language or culture, it is ALWAYS a class issue. If we ever collectively learn that we will be much better off.

US garment workers helped pioneer multi-ethnic labor unions, which united people across racial, religious, gender, linguistic, and cultural divides. Also native-born citizens and immigrants. I think about that sometimes when I see people suggest such divides are unbridgeable.

WWE is prioritizing massive profit margins and contractual obligations to Saudi Arabia over the safety of all their wrestlers, production crew, and staff, who are being pressured to travel into a region currently subject to explicit US State Department warnings telling people to get the fuck out.

Republicans are openly cheating across the country in this election cycle because they believe if they win, they won't face any consequences for the cheating and also know from experience that if they lose they also won't face any consequences for the cheating.

The only excuse for this sort of brazen cravenness is that the men/companies who are so averse to paying taxes are without a doubt the most dependent on federal money. The true welfare queens destroying our society...

Even more reverse centaurism. As a society, we haven't agreed we even want AI. Yet large segments of the workforce are already working for AI instead of the other way around. @doctorow.pluralistic.net nailed this prediction and @404media.co's coverage is killing it...

That's exactly what it is. It's doing what it is programmed and prompted to do. But we have to consider quarterly returns for investors before, you know, just stopping which nobody else would care about.

We did it! “The Nerd Reich” is a New York Times Instant Bestseller! My book debuts at #3 on the non-fiction list. Thanks to all who pre-ordered /bought the book—or requested it at the public library or promoted it on social. Without you, I’m just an unemployed guy with a laptop. But with you…

I'm not surprised. Personally I find this subject difficult to broach with people without feeling like they think I'm wearing a tinfoil hat. But this book is so cogent, researched, and cited that its message is impossible to deny. These people have told us what they want to do and they're doing it.

Gil Durán@gilduran.com

I encourage people to buy "The Nerd Reich" at local bookstores or on @bookshop.org (an amazing alternative to Amazon). But it's *crazy* that my book is already at #11 on Amazon's chart of top sellers. I thought I'd be talking to five people in a bookstore somewhere, but interest is off the chain!

As an anti-consumerist who already lives somewhere you can't throw a rock without hitting a Wawa, Sheetz, or 7-Eleven all I can say is...[shrug] okay.
