All these characters with "put together" personas don't plan ahead of time and almost all act on the spur of the moment. EXCEPT for Vox maybe Lute. aside from them i seriously don't think there's been a multi episode length plan in place. For disciplined authority they sure are incredibly impulsive.

my biggest BIGGEST issue with hazbin hotel is that it's supposed to be this gruesome show for adults and yet it babies its audience. It's got this "tell not show" problem. a LOT of this information would be better if it was implied or shown instead of the characters turning to the camera yapping.

You'd think patience would be a strong suit for characters who are hundreds of thousands of years old. It's atleast explainable with the demons (temptation, impulse getting in the way) but the angels like Sera and whoever have no excuse. She's not sheltered, uninformed or naive, just straight dumb.

like pilot Charlie was a more softspoken people pleaser who let others speak over her in favor of keeping the peace. show Charlie cannot read a room to save her life (or her friends) and spends more time overwhelmed and leaning on Vagina or whoever tf than she does developing as a person.

it walks the audience through each plotpoint. i think the show would do much better with allowing the audience to put together for example Alastor using his 'capture' as a strategic move to weaken the Voxes trust then basically having him turn to the cam and go "chat clip this" then ragebaiting them
