And at long last, #ReZero ‘s dub for the finale of Season 4 is live. A *huge* thank you to everyone who has shared clips and support throughout the season - and a Hello to those of you I’ll get to talk to about it this weekend. :) Here to Season 5, or even that supposed remake of Seasons 1 and 2?~

Seriously, WATCH THIS EPISODE for Ryan & Brianna’s performances…and Erik’s…and everyone’s, really. I can’t put it into words how clearly everyone was on point. The nuance in so many of Rem’s deliveries. The sheer RIDICULOUS effort from Brianna in every ounce of her cries. I’m so proud of them all!

Sitting in the studio unexpectedly crying now, because out of nowhere the project director for Re:Zero stops by to grab their lunch, but takes a moment specifically to tell me that each time they quality-review the mix for an episode they go “thank GOD Sean is Subaru”. I’m so ridiculously grateful.

I still find this scene the most brutal deaths in re zero 😭 Not only I remember when it came out in 2020 but this was done in one take according to Sean ( Subarus voice actor) plus its crazier to know that this was when everyone was at home in their own recording booth 😭

Congratulations to #ReZero on over 10 years of production, & as of today its successful completion of 4 full seasons that ranged from ambitious, to emotional, to downright iconic. From what it sounds like, the team is every bit as eager to continue adapting...and I hope to be right there with them.

Despite everything, I’m still here.

This day wasn’t supposed to happen, for me. In another world - in another life - I didn’t survive long enough to be able to perform this #ReZero episode. Even now it doesn’t feel real… nor do I know how long it’ll last. So, to the version of me who didn’t make it - I’ll keep doing the best I can.

I hope that: 1) after the glow-up that happened b/t Season 2 and 3, the fandom will let the studio cook for as long as they need to if the passion is still there; 2) the community can find peace w/ parts the novel described better, & celebrate what anime improves 3) I can be with it until the end

Last time I’ll toot my horn about this before it actually airs, I promise: We just finished recording the last loop for the ep… & it’s everything I wanted it to be. I actually can’t pick a fave segment. The library section is “gross”. The conversation is sincere. The comeback is hype. Can’t wait.

Always love the impressive quality of the Re:Zero fandom…& getting to contribute to it when it can. Ironically, the FIRST time I collaborated with DaiMaou it was basically practice for before I recorded the official scene… but this time around, the fanimation is more of a reader of what’s to come.~

The “Subaru Natsuki” episode may have been a mixed-review reception for folks in terms of animation and pacing, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to let that affect my performance quality after how long people have been telling me to Prepare Myself. I’m going to make this episode awesome, I swear it.

I redid a cover for 9 years ago to see how much I've grown! Rola's vocal style is so beautiful and difficult to emulate, and I really learned a lot as a vocalist in general doing a deep dive on her singing style. I love knowing I can always grow and improve. 💙🌸

Rem would ve so fucking bricked watching the new Re:Zero episode

“We can only kiss for 2-3 minutes” and “Can we get to the kissing now?” are real outtakes I did for this scene that not only fit perfectly with what Julius says immediately afterwards, but also fit the laps so well it concerned the director/engineer.

Rui’s ENG voice actress (who I will leave nameless so she can take proper credit at her pace) did SUCH an amazing job in this episode. The way she handles the repetitive “amazing” line is so truly creative, and the sharpness of her staccato way of speaking is captivating. I can’t wait to hear more!

Believe it or not, my time working on “Isekai Quartet” is what introduced (and speedran) me to learning how to tackle multiple lines/efforts at a time… and it played a HUGE part in my advancement as an actor when it comes to performing dialogue loops that don’t leave any breathing room between them.

It’s also one of the few times I was able to leave deliberate “bloopers” for @alejandrosaab.bsky.social to hear when he came in to record… “I’ll be straight with you, Julius” LIKE HELL YOU WILL!

I hope Brianna gets all the love she deserves for her (if only temporary) grand return in this episode. I’m so sad I didn’t get the chance to hear her performance before doing mine (I was the first to record between us). But that’s fine - I want her to be the one to shine, after waiting so so long.

Monica Rial is guesting at a convention in San Antonio next weekend, and the Facebook comments are flooded with almost nothing but heinous sexist replies and wishing death on her. If you're wondering which people are the Not Good people, it's the people that do this.

This may come as a surprise to some, but most people *generally* assume the best of a situation. I try to live my life under the belief that the majority of people are good people and don’t WANT to cause harm to others. It makes feelings of betrayal suck royally - esp. when suddenly I’m tied to it.

0% okay with this. It has already been a known (and observed) practice for over a decade that digital copies of games can be revoked at the company’s whim. We literally JUST saw Sony remove over 500 movies from the accounts of people who already purchased them, w/ no recourse. Pure profit chasing.

Physical games will end production and digital games can be revoked at any time at the publisher’s/storefront’s whim But you better believe they’re still gonna charge $20-30 for games that released back when the millenium was still fresh and $70 for the new stuff being graciously “licensed” to you
