We have indexed and rejected many videos from NSFW creators. We can provide this data quickly if you want to index them too on your platform. Our indexer rejects many NSFW content per second. We'd be happy to help another platform.

running some data analysis in attempt to have some more actionable data for creators in regards to visibility, reach, growth looking at public data for 2700+ @verified.babesky.com creators, so far i’ve found hashtag use to make far more of an impact on Bluesky engagement than anything else

Given the total number of videos, it will take a long time for the whole but we integrate the process into the video indexing service so that it is done live when adding a video to our database.

think about it like an email account, except instead of just email you can publish blog posts, livestream, publish music, or do anything else you’d do on the internet your Bluesky account has the ability to do that already already this tab will just let you see all that stuff in the Bluesky app

Directly from Bluesky we can display vertical or horizontal videos. The only thing we can't have is the video duration, that's why we have deployed a script from Jetstream on our indexer which reads each video and adds the duration to its metadata lexicon.

Hard agree, just imagine how cool it would be for there to be video apps that offer different formatting options for short form vids and then seeing them all stream together on a Bluesky short form video feed. As opposed to brainrot scrolling on YouTube where every other video uses the “oh no” song

Currently Bluvy Tube offers a custom lexicon for metadata of videos including title, description and in-app possibility to add chapters. Tube is not an application built next to Bluesky but built on Bluesky. Since the beginning, we have already referenced 1 million videos.

We just learned that it’s possible to natively link a `.vtt` file to a video. We’re therefore going to adapt our system to support this natively, without relying on the custom metadata we previously added.
