Tried to do login page more basic for non at-proto user.

I’ve added a small FAQ. Some adjustments are still needed: remove “(AT Protocol)” and add “Tube” to the question.

The login and registration system remains the least easy-to-understand element in the UX of all #at-proto applications. An average user wouldn't really understand all the words currently used. We should simplify everything to be more user friendly and therefore facilitate user integration.

We absolutely need to lighten the whole thing. Users wishing to try our applications are quickly lost and leave before even doing anything in the face of a complex system.

If a user just wants to post photos or videos then he won't get bored with a complex and incomprehensible registration system for him and go back to his old application..

Registration link -> PDS choice -> redirection to the PDS -> authorization screen -> back to the app is too complex for basic users.

tried something on our own browser extension based on @tube.bluvy.app actually in dev since somes weeks ago.

#atdev For several hours now we have been working on user permissions but also on the necessary elements, how to engage a user not being atmosphere on our applications.

First we adjust the necessary permissions by limiting to personalized lexicons and basic data (likes and comments).

In a second we study a new simple registration method without the user wondering but what is a pds etc. What are your work on it? #atproto
