Rest in Peace Walter Koenig 🌹 #StarTrek #StarTrekTOS

Such naked horse-trading was not part of the public view of Archer in the 2180s, but that was a delicately crafted illusion. So Archer returned to his earlier political proclivities and backed a winner. Ch. 16: To Run Again, Run Again, Run Again, etc. is up now. nascentnovice.com/the-last-fou...

"In 2188, as has been said about nearly every age, history seemed to be moving quickly. Though much was happening on strange, new worlds, the attention of most citizens lay firmly on the upcoming presidential election." Ch. 16: To Run Again... is now up. nascentnovice.com/the-last-fou...

Today we lost Walter Koenig. Some thoughts about a fine actor and genuinely nice guy....

Taking this opportunity to post one of my favourite bits of Trek, which has some fabulous moments from Koenig, Shatner and Takei despite coming from Elaan of Troyius, a wildly all over the place episode

Our small tribute to an enormous man Sleep well, Walter 🖖 youtu.be/9SurEEvj3mw?... @editkrisedit.bsky.social @trekculture.bsky.social

An illustration of Chekov marvelling at the new U.S.S. Galaxy for @andy3e.bsky.social & @wolf359project.bsky.social in honour of Walter #startrek #inmemory

Oh this is sad news. When we lose anyone its tragedy, and of course Walter was one of the originals. I had of course heard rumours that he hadn't been well for a while. Our deepest sympathies to Walter's family and friends at this time Walter Koenig - 1936 - 2026 #RIP #NuclearWessels

The author is saddened to hear of the Death of Admiral Pavel Chekov (2245-2366). Admiral Chekov was a longstanding supporter of Dr Devenish's academic career, and conducted several interviews with him across his career. He is survived by one son, the United Earth Councillor Anton Chekov.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

I love the idea of Organians getting super concerned only about the war that showed up on their Twitter feed one day and forgot it the moment the algorithm moved on to something else.

I always loved these lines. Endless horizons. I keep that sentiment close to heart in every project I undertake.

"There are some who say Mr Spock and I beat the odds on Organia. We didn't beat the odds. We didn't have a chance. The Organians raided the game." – James Kirk

These are great, but the square crop doesn't do them justice. They were created by Lyndon Willoughby for Vice Press to celebrate the 50th anniversary. blog.trekcore.com/2024/04/vice...

The USS Enterprise in another timeline Concept model of the Enterprise for the unproduced movie, which was cancelled in favour of a series, which was than cancelled for The Motion Picture.

This chapter of the Edge of Midnight is brought to you by The Forces of History, which are currently recovering from violent injuries sustained in a head on collision with a deus ex machina

"A Shame, Captain. It would have been Glorious." The Organian War ends, before it has really begin. One chapter has no choice to end: but is the next ready to begin? CHAPTER 17 OF THE ARSENAL OF FREEDOM IS OUT NOW.

plotting some EoM Volume III stuff while waiting for a meeting and this chapter is gonna be fun

It has been one year since we all started on this project known as THE LAST FOUNDER: The Presidency of Jonathan Archer, 2185-2192. Ch. 15 is available now, but throughout the week I'll be sharing BTS goodies You can always start the story today: nascentnovice.com/the-last-fou...

i haven't drawn since art school and i wasn't really that good at it but i wanted to get back into it somewhat so i bought a drawing tablet. drew the iconic #StarTrek blue barrel today. i was going to draw it in a cartoony style like my buddy @irlbirdreal.bsky.social 's art but i accidentally didnt

clean layers :3

these pieces r def my favs

Stardate 58779.4. The USS Nathan Hale, prototype for the Inquiry Class "Beta" variant, performs her first Planetary Take-Off and Landing (PTOL) test at Starfleet's testing facility in Nevada. Tensions are high as the Nathan Hale thunders off the ground, accompanied by a group of observing shuttles.

USS Intrepid is attacked in the Argelian Approaches, 24th June 2267. Klingon deep penetration vessels caused panic throughout the Four Day's War: many of these ships remained trapped in Federation space after the armistice, causing a press sensation and a severe headache for Starfleet.

as most people know I did the back cover for the 3rd marinler zine and you check out more awesome stuff on dub.sh/marinler26 !!

QRP with your moon art

The best part of making this was the suitably Blairpunk logo, which suits the tempo and setting of THE LAST FOUNDER perfectly. If you love @eomproject.bsky.social: go check out Nathan's fantastic history of the Jonathan Archer Presidency now!

This would make quite a good wall display piece I reckon. Hang it vertically somehow, tail up. Maybe backlit.

The LP-8 "Clanulsta" Long Range Patrol Craft. The last in a long line of failed small patrol and attack craft, the Clanulsta would see service with Starfleet, Memberworld defences forces and neutral star fleets from the late 2250s until the end of the 23rd century.

Thanks again to @queertribble.bsky.social for ensuring that you can have 23rd century electorialism beamed directly into your ears like you're listening to a podcast chaired by two bug-eyed monsters called Rory and Alastair

“If I’m going to lose this election, I’d rather lose it because of the reform act, and not because I got us into another damned war.” – Ken Wescott The Federation goes to the polls: the future is on the ballot. CHAPTER 18B OF THE AUDIOBOOK IS AVAILABLE NOW open.spotify.com/episode/76mk...

Decided to add it to my @tranquilitypress.bsky.social -related fanfic starmap projects-in-progress. The pale orange line marks projected 24th-Century CE #Tholian borders.
